Speaking of Bethany, I got her as my first proper hero in HoDA yesterday.

My first (and so far only) epic/legendary hero is/was Aveline  I squealed when I got her and cried out, "Aveline!" I dunno why I was so happy lol But it feels good to see a familiar face in my line-up.

I saw someone with Fenris and immediately retreated. I couldn't even handle the thought of fighting my Hawke's sweet baboo lol

Sebastian and Duncan so far. I keep hearing people say they have Carver and it makes me a sad panda that I don't have him. I'm hoping for King Alistair to.

I finally gave in and bought the 2 dollar package, which gave me GW Carver, yay! And increadibly lucky to have pulled King Alistair from a wintersend package yesterday. Glad I started to save up those gems from the accomplishments (thought the droprate from epic/legendary is still way too low from the champion packs, seeing the charts hanging around the hoda forum).

edit: apparently Duncan has an increased chance of dropiing from the challenge node on the 3rd map for the next 3 days.

yea I kind of agree with that I would much more prefere some more in-game screen shots with the fem inq, but one can hope:P altho they did say that they were gonna show a video soon... but who knows when that will be

Well I'm excited! I love the concept of the Imperial Highway AND people on the twitter thread are speculating that this leads to Aeonar which is something I've been a bit obsessed with for a while now.

See, I'm not much of a lore nerd when it comes to DA. Probably moreso with ME (I like that world more.) Not that I don't care about the DA world. I just like the characters more. And I want to know what kind of character I'll be able to create.

Has anyone else plateau'd out on HODA? I find I can't advance any further (unless I get lucky), and I've already done all the mastery quests I can; otherwise, again, I get defeated. Pretty much all I'm doing is battle matches (PVP), and after five matches, I have to wait an eternity to fill up again =\\

Yeah anything other than companion reveals, videos (which will kill everything else they show us, TRUST me) and screenshots that are incredibly interesting are just going to torture us. Luckily it's only a year to go (at most).

Which as I'm writing this, isn't it great that we're less than a year away from launch?

It's not that serious but it bothers me how I bought twenty Soldier Packs and only got two rare, whereas others are getting like twenty different epics and stuff.

Not that I begrudge those people, I just hate my luck. I know some people who got nugs from the Wintersend pack which in my mind is kind of sad. I wonder how long it's gonna stay though?

But I totally agree that the drop rate of epics and legendary is annoyingly low. I mean: I know I am increadibly lucky with my list, but I feel sorry for those with bad luck which get stuck pretty fast. Not that I can really advance at the moment: still got gems to grab from map 2 and further (those are still too hard) and just managed to open up the tevinter map (but can't even do the first one). Hmm, I like the new concept art picture, but it is not that intriguing to me. Would be something I could hang onto my wall without being obviously geeky The one-liners are nice, but not really more than that to me.

Hmm. Well I just lost five matches in a row, so maybe my next excursion will be easier 

And do people really keep two teams? I keep only the one. I just consume what I don't want.

Here's my current team  Not a fan of Stroud, personally, but I can't get anyone to replace him. And the Dalish mage is cute, but he sure dies easily lol



Completely off topic, but in a DA3 thread, someone was asking people to post pics of inspiration for their inquisitors. I found these three that I will use as inspiration... I've even already named my first three inquisitors!

My Dalish rogue:

Of course I don't know if all of those origins will be available, but just thinking about these three characters keeps me excited about the game.

Would love to see inspirational pics of you guys' future inquisitors 

p.s. And yes ofc each one of these lads is destined to be with Cullen  Okay, in all seriousness, I might do Cullen the first and second time and someone different the third time. 

And if no Cullen, then hopefully Gray Warden guy.

I don't see any of these inquisitors gelling with Varric, Dorian/Smug Elf, or ... okay, maybe Iron Bull? For the circle mage or city elf. But not the Dalish elf. He might end up being forever alone...

What a lovely pictures MMG! To be honest, I am not yet that busy with fleshing out my inquisitor yet. More that I hope we can choose to take ourselves not too seriously I so want to pull of a monty python for one playthrough... so going for this one:



Edit: and regarding the HoDA team: I am only actively leveling one team, but I have some 'gotta collect them all' OCD with the characters As long as I don't already have a tier 4 from a rare-or-higher character, I can't consume them... heck no! Well ok, I have nommed some ogre I think... but that's different

You upload your pic to photobucket.

Then copy the url that is created.
