Eh Avejajed, as far as I know no one has been directing anything towards Lola and the others except congratulations? I'm sorry if things have been received otherwise, but in my opinion there has only been some disdain considering the first group of beta-testers have been handpicked and therefore indirectly favoring certain persons over other fans. Opinions vary, obviously, but I think your pointing is not fair and not was is actually the matter. I think there is nothing wrong with ventilating if people feel a bit disappointed over the handpicking, as handpicking instead of having a tombola means you pick those who you like the most... it's like being the last person standing when people pick teams. However, that does not mean that those who are picked are doing anything 'wrong' or whatever, it's the person who is chosing who is getting some complains here.

Of course I can only speak for myself, but I certainly love the youtube-movies people make (Lola's are closely watched and always with pleasure) and have great appreciation for the effort they put in it. I am really happy for those who got their invites, of course!

And I loved Carver. Yes, he started out rather petulant, but as I gained his approval it was a great growth of his character. I really enjoyed the pt's with him, and seeing him and Hawke grow closer especially by the end of the Legacy dlc. But that was just my pt.

yes, 2013 has flown by...more or less. by the end of every year, i'm happy to see it go. on to the next one! alot of good things happened for me, tho. 2013 was not unkind. looking back it seems to have flown by, but it's really been a long haul.

I wish you didn't have to play as a mage to get Carver. It's my least favorite class, so as a consequence I think I've only had Carver 2-3 times. That I can remember... I think I've played the game more than I realize... 

Anyway, wish I could've had a rogue Hawke + Carver; that way it would've felt more natural to be pro-templar and to think mages belong in the Circle. My most pro-templar Hawke still had a mage sister, even if they didn't get along (and I had to headcanon that part, as it's practically impossible to have rivalry with Bethany...). I guess IRL I love my sister too much to advocate imprisoning her for life lol

He seems like the kind of guy who would pull some off the shelf and read it, just to prove us wrong. Um. That's kind of uncanny. Quick, hide the p0rn! LOL

LOL Those are awesome. iCullen, of course, is one of my faves from littlenikki (maybe for our very first celebration, Page 500??). And, the other is my Cullen swap... with captions from Berelinde.

I think he's even dropped some hints as to writing some himself, though I guess that might not be technically characterized as Fanfiction and moreso just some additional stories. Not that he will ever tell us which one it is, or what characters it involves. One can only hope for some more vague hints from drunk tweets

Yes on all points. I think Rogue may be my favorite class. Although, DA2 gave me a new enjoyment of mage class. So, it's a toss up now. But the whole tying the siblings to my class choice bugged the hell outta me. Idk how else they woulda worked out the death, tho. Have me pick? Eee, I didn't know either well enough, and even if I did...ugh. So, idk.

The way it was set up though really constrains my pt's. Rogue Hawke and Warrior Carver woulda been awesome, and yes! it was Very Difficult to be pro-Templar. I can't do that to my sister. I won't. Even if I can try and rationalize doing it to innocent mages that had nothing to do w/the Chantry blow up. Even if I can kinda pretend that...I just can't throw Bethany under the bus like that. That's family, and at the end of the day there's no way I'm gonna do that.

And a mage Hawke supporting the Templars is too much of a stretch for me.

So, needless to say, I have yet to complete a pure pro-Templar pt. I've tried, but the choice on offer is completely unacceptable. Hell, it's hard enough saying "kill 'em all" when I know it was Anders that did this.

I miss my Rogue.....

Oh yea! I remember seeing that on Tumblr I think, but before that he mentioned a few times that he was tempted to write something anonymously, or that he had written something but didn't release it into the interwebs.

Indeed. Company's coming...

I think it's great he may occasionally look at sum DA fanfic. There are sum very talented writers out there. Others...not so much. But the idea that something you created inspires creativity in others..wow....that's something special.

Sum of the talented ones, I do wish would focus sum of their creative energy on their own original worlds and stories. Cuz I'd love to see what else they could imagine. I'd like to read it.
