There are fringe cults of Christianity that believe that God had physical relations with Mary of Nazareth. Weird! So I can kinda see where that question/confusion would come from.

I always saw Andraste as being closer historically to Joan of Arc, personally - though she's not a literal equation of either. That's the kind of question Alistair probably got hours of pot scrubbing for. ;)

I see Cullen needing to feel very comfortable with someone before he'd let something like that out. I imagine him being very guarded and professional until you break through that facade (which may not even be a facade, it might be the real guy).

LOL Yeah, but I think wondering if Andraste had sex with the Maker is a little different than wondering if she never got around to shagging her first husband... I mean, she did kinda "cheat" on Maferath, probably contributing to how pissed he got.

edit: acknowledging that obviously, he's not really *wondering* that... I just find it doubtful she was a virgin before she met the Maker.

Tee hee, yeah, exactly, it's not like the Maker was her first marriage after all. Jeesh, maybe he skipped the birds and the bees day at the Chantry.

Do you suppose they actually taught them any sex education? I mean, anything they taught you regarding sex back in medieval times were highly inaccurate. I guess it's not surprising that he was clueless, especially in DA:O before they retconned the chasity vows, the Chantry/Order probably told them nothing but "sex is a sin rawr!!!"

The dirty Ferelden orange is the most important part!

I wonder if Vieralynn has sound clips of all Greg Ellis' Cullen lines from DA:O including the ones that were cut out, I'd love to hear them. Also, he played a few other minor NPC's in DA:O, I wonder if she found those too.

Which one was Mathias? I know he played the circle mage that kept setting himself alight whilst practicing spells, which was very funny.

Mathias was the sexy widower father in the DLC quest where you get Shale. You have to save his daughter.

The thing is we had Westly who was married and Thrask and Emeric can be randomly seen at the Blooming Rose.

Seems like all the nice Templars that were nice were having sex. Cullen may not have been having sex, but he obviously thought about it which made him nicer.

Ser Keras was a predator :ph34r:

Yeah they retconned the chasity vows in DA2, but in DA:O none of them were supposed to be having sex, so I figured his question about Andraste being a virgin would mean that he probably hadn't been taught much about sex, or at least the story surrounding whether or not Andraste was shagging the maker LOL.

I think it's very sweet that he presumed she was no longer a virgin after becoming the Makers bride. I guess he believed in no sex before marriage... Hm, in which case if that's still his belief then let's hope we have the option to marrying him if he's a love interest in DA3, otherwise our protagonist won't be getting laid anytime soon LOL!

I wonder if he would have been sent to scrub pots if he had asked that question during Chantry lessons LOL! Talk about controversial!

Well, she cracked open the toolkit to get at all the dialogue. You can see his random comment lines here. Presumably she also has access to the audio, so if there's something you want to hear, you could probably ask her.

I was thinking maybe it would be worth letting the Cullen karma mods know so that they could use these lines for his companion mod. Something else they could do is get recordings of his lines from other games/films/tv shows etc and maybe some how add them in so that he wouldn't be a silent companion anymore... I think that's do-able anyway.

Karma et al. have access to the same toolset, so I would guess they have all that already. I have no idea how much effort it is to create dialogue lines, but you could always suggest that over on Allacia's group pages.

Actully Karma is a woman.

I think more than half of the modders for Dragon Age are women. :wizard:

No it was only one person when it started. I think she's getting help now. She has one for Tamlen and Ser Gilmore but I can't play with character companions that are supposed to be dead.

I'm considering starting my DA2 100% perfect canon run through tonight, that I'll import to DA3 when it comes out. But at the same time I kinda wanna wait and not play it at all until a week before DA3 comes out so that I can play through with fresh eyes and remind myself of the plot points and lore in prep for DA3.

I bet the Tamlen one is interesting, how do they manage to bring him back to be a companion when he went through the mirror and likely became some sort of Darkspawn abomination?

Ser Gilmore = oh-so-hot knight from the Cousland background that makes his last stand to save you and your family.

That jawline... Mmmmm.

Oh the red haired guy! Yeah I was really pissed off when I found his tortured corpse in Howe's torture Chambers... Didn't want to kill him though, I love Tim Curry!

Just watched a clip of Tamlen attacking the campsite in the Dalish Elf playthrough, that didn't happen in mine, so I wasn't away of it until now. It was so sad! I really hope DA3 goes back to this kinda story telling, I missed all the little gut wrenchers, there wasn't many in DA2.
