I completely agree! Although it may destroy my head canon, that's okay. I'd like conclusion for both the Warden and Hawke, actually... my Warden went through the Eluvian with Morrigan, and Hawke fled Kirkwall... ARGGHH.

This is my hope, too. I figure anything taking place after Act 3 has a chance of including our intrepid Knight-Captain, acting Knight-Commander(?) if it talks about the aftermath in any way. *Crossing fingers* Maybe Gaider's new book could as well.

Unfortunately, my guess would be that we'll never get a real wrap up for Hawke, just like we'll never get a definitive wrap up for the Warden. Esp in the latter case, there are too many different ways things might have ended for them to attempt to please anyone. I don't think BW can win there ... everyone either gets mad that they don't have choices or mad that their choices don't matter. :pinched: For me personally, I'd be fine with them just picking a canon ending just to follow up a few loose ends. I for one am also dying to know what happened with Morrigan and ye olde bun in the oven (since all my wardens did the ritual). At least Hawke and Warden are both allegedly supposed to show up in some fashion in DA3.

OH, and @Auroras, no worries, it was time well spent! HA

EDIT: new pic for new page. Lovely Cullen by Gala.

I think they've painted themselves into a corner with the OGB thing. If they don't address it in some way all the Morrigan romancers and ritual participants will be annoyed and if they do, the non-participants and non Morrigan romancers will be annoyed. I'd hate to think they'd just write it off as too difficult and ignore it. Really negates the whole point of giving the choice in the first place imho.

I was half wondering if it would be dealt with in the comic - whether the witch they're hunting is Morrigan. Time will tell I suppose.

For the record - I'm in the second group - I never do the ritual and I'm not a fan of Morrigan. I just think those who do and are should get an ending to their story.

Okay - that's terrifically off topic...um..Cullen!! Some Cullen in DA3 would be nice as I doubt we'll see any proper story DLC's for DA2 (call me a cynic). I'm not that interested in DA3 atm but some confirmed Cullen action could change that ;-)

Cullen has to be in DA3, he's Kirkwall's Knight-Commander now, isn't he? There's no Chantry, but he's still got a Gallows...

I'm so disappointed he was never a love interest, but I'm glad he played a bigger role in DA2.

@Celestina, he's not a knight-commander yet, the Chantry appoints them. Even if he'll be considered worthy, I believe he will have to answer a lot of questions first. For example, why did he fight his commander, why did he let Hawke and other apostates leave Kirkwall?
Of course, in one of DAO epilogues it was mentioned that he became a knight-commander, so it's possible. But I hope he'll join the seekers instead. And will make a cameo appearance in the dragon age anime :) Anime Cullen should be hot as hell.

*is secretly smiling because she wrote up Cullen as a seeker in her fanfic long before she heard anyone else mention the concept* Great minds things alike, I suppose.

Any road, I'd imagine Leliana would try to recruit him. After all, she was around during Act III if you have The Exiled Prince DLC installed and you've been completing all his quests. *shrugs* Though, I keep seeing her as a bad instructor, though - she's too social and I don't think Cullen would enjoy that. He seems more like "I'll do my duty for duty's sake, not the pleasure of the game".

*sighs* I'll stop now... I'm not even near this part in my story...

Sorry, Gala. *hugs* Believe me, he doesn't like it either, but I like to think Cassandra is in the dark because she never got the chance to talk to Cullen in the aftermath because let's be honest, he could have cleared a lot of things up.

As a Seeker, he can find out what's really going on and hopefully help the way he really wants to instead of being bound merely by templar rules - they've shaped him, but now he can put his heart into the matter... *crosses fingers for DA3*

But don't worry, he only gets missions from her and she's always busy and late to their rendezvous to make him wait for days... he has a lot of time to think after the end. *sighs* But no, this is NOT for MTA, thank the Maker for that. I have a mildly happy ending planned for him in that one.

Oooh, a doodle. Pretty.... *sigh* . . .    Erm, darnit, have to look back ... Leliana getting her mitts on Cullen?  Eeek! Part of me could see Cullen being a Seeker, since they seem to be on the side of "sane" in Year 10. But, then there's the conniving, playing "the Game" side of being a Seeker like Leliana that doesn't seem to quite fit him. Hmm...

But, I agree that there would be some 'splaining to do for Cullen following Act 3, given all the, you know, insubordination and such. Hmm... just had a brainstorm, ala La Femme Nikita, maybe the Seekers only recruit from the fallen, as it were, and serving as a Seeker is your way to earn a clean slate.

"So, Cullen, you betrayed your superior officer. But we can overlook that . . . if you do something for us.":bandit::devil:

For all we know, there are rogue elements within the ranks or even special operatives that operate outside the norm. They already wield a lot of power over others, but it makes sense that there might be a more covert side to the Seekers that even the main body doesn't know about... *shrugs* Maker, I hate politics...

*wanders off to rethink her plotline*

Hee hee, IE, now you're zoning in on my brainwaves! This is an element of my current fic... I just find the Seeker codex that mentions shady powers like mind reading too delicious not to explore. :) But not for every Seeker, just sorta special agent types.

Looking forward to see what you've been thinking!

*snorts* Meh, I don't want to get into too much detail... it's for my Sebastian fic (Blessing, though I'm beginning to hate it and am baffled every time I get an alert or favourite for it...) and Cullen will only play a small part in two different events... however, things are not what they seem - Lywinis and I cooked up something a long time ago as a bit of side-joke, but I decided to run with it and turn it into something tangible.

Any road, I find, more often than not, that there are those that serve their own agenda while pretending to serve another. It's something that's easily manipulated to suit a writer's purpose. That, and nothing is incorruptible - the Chantry is one of those things and who's to say Divine Justinia is any different - her rise to power was apparently suspicious according to the Codex entries and I intend to exploit it, but I shall say no more.

So you wouldn't object to your own PC having a lovely French Orlesian accent though, right? I think it would be quite charming. ^_^

Ah yes that unmistakable gorgeous hair. lol.

If Cullen doesn't become a LI I'll cry, no jokes. He's the perfect mix of manlyness and sensitivity.
I think its mean that they've dangled him just out of our grasp for two whole games. Posted Image

Hello everyone! I've read but never posted here. I have always loved Cullen. Got the mod for DA:O just so my mage could kiss him. Bring him back for DA3! I didn't see this posted anywhere, so if it's been here, SORRY. Check out this vid from Typowolf:

Oh man, thanks for sharing that! I hadn't seen it. Wow, it was really well done. *sigh* ANd, made me so sad at the end!  I could totally see Cullen doing something like that post-Act 3. He can be such an epic tragic character  - how could they not include him in DA3?!

Hi everybody - Sorry for the shameless plug, but I finally started posting my f!Hawke x Cullen post-Act 3 fic. Still apprehensive, but had to start publishing it sometime! If you're at all interested (and willing to read other Cullen characterizations, LOL), you can find it here.

@R2, heee, one more  Cullen story to read when I'm done with other things!

I did some Cullen stuff too.
First was my version of Cullen before he was knighted, when he had Shepard's haircut and no beard :pinched:

And then I made a silly giff of my Amell's reaction when Cullen grew his awesome curls back:

OMG, Gala, those are great!! Gah, Cullen with no hair! The gif cracks me up on two levels, tho, since I can't help but think back to all the creepy hair brushing discussions we had apropos of David Gaider's creepy!Cullen comments. Tee hee. I'd probably nosebleed, too.
