It seems that the quotes from both Morrigan and Flemeth were hinting at the whole veil rip/DAI story, even as far back as DA:O:

Morrigan DA:O: "Change is coming to the world. Some fear change and will fight it with every fibre of their being. But sometimes, change is what they need most. Sometimes, change is what sets them free."

Flemeth DA2: "Without an end, there can be no peace. It gets no easier. Your struggles have only just begun..." and "We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet in the abyss. Watch for that moment... and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap."

Obviously we now know that they've had the storyline for DAI in the works ever since DA:O was in the making, so I guess they've been hinting at it from the beginning. It's funny, until recently I always thought Flemeth's little speech was aimed at Hawke as a hint of what he/she should expect during the game, but looking at it now I think it was aimed directly at the player as a hint that sh!t is going to hit the fan in the next game. By the looks of it Morrigan's little speech was also a hint of things to come in DAI (and/or beyond).

Yeah, you know, this is actually a little comforting. Since what Hawke did didn't seem that 'earth shaking.' I'm still not quite sure if she leapt yet or not! LOL I'm thinking not.

But it makes me wonder... why would Morrigan and Flemeth tell the warden/Hawke about upcoming events, if they will not have a direct role in it? I somehow still think that they will pop up, somewhere... without us controlling them

Omg, the other character threads in here are pretty much dead. No one has posted in the Anders thread for 10 days, and the Fenris thread has been silent for 26 days. We're literally the only active thread left in these parts, LOL!

Since I was the last poster, I may have possibly maybe killed the Anders thread. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/sideways.png[/smilie] Oops.

Does anyone else feel like we're Darkspawn scuttling around the abandoned Deep Roads, whilst everyone else is topside? Lmao.

Nu-uh, I don't wanna be a Broodmother!  lol

Maker, I hope so. In spite of what people have said about DAII and Hawke, I really did enjoy playing it. I felt connected to my Hawke. In many ways, we are similar. We both have made some serious mistakes and did our best to learn from them. We both have gone through a lot in life. We've lost people who were close to us. . I don't think there is a single person in the world who is perfect and flawless, who never makes mistakes and never loses anything/anyone. It's not humanly possible to be perfect. Hawke seemed like a real person to me because of all of her flaws and mistakes.

I think the thing I like most about my Hawke is how, in spite of everthing that happened to her, she was still one of the nicest people in Kirkwall. In the face of pain and hardship, she still retained her humanity, unlike most everyone in Kirkwall. She didn't resort to blood magic, even though it would've been easy to. She stayed sane and level-headed, even when she had Meredith and Orsino barking in her face, forcing her to choose sides.

In short, I would love to meet Hawke in Inquisition. She's awesome. Bioware, make it happen!

I liked DA2 too. It was just too bad that it was rushed. But story wise it was quite a classic pen&paper like experience to me. Heck, Hawke totally reminds me of LARP-players: they are the 'hero', but always screw up and leave a trail of destruction behind them XD

Well, within a few months, Dragon Age 2 will be three years old. Even if it had been a hugely popular game, conversation will run thin at some point.

I love Hawke!!! I loved DA2. I'd have never known it was "such a bad game" if I hadn't come to the BSN. Now DA:O... that was a bit of a snooze fest for me! :P If only my Warden had had a voice and I could've romanced Alistair, things would've been different, I'm sure.

Check out a DAI fan trailer I made. The editing isn't great, but it's the best I can do with Windows Movie Maker 7. Enjoy and feedback is welcomed :D.

Love it! I've just been able to watch it, so sorry for being a bit late to the party

We had to do retakes. A second round of head-mopping was thus required. #devdiaries

@davidgaider

Also, I got to say "thumb up the ass" in legitimate context. My proudest moment, even if they cut it. #devdiaries

Any dev diary where @KarinWeekes and I get to make puppet gestures and talk to @Mike_Laidlaw with squeaky voices is A+ in my book.

I should probably put this tweet down for context...

David Gaider:
In @KarinWeekes's job description today: wiping the excess oil off my head, so the glare doesn't attract random magpies. #devdiaries

Magpies, or maybe dwarves. After all Varric once said, " we dwarves are drawn to shiny objects. Sort of like Magpies, but with business sense."

Probably not DAI, since it's not top secret anymore. Unless he's being sarcastic after his last slip up, LOL!

Well, we don't know whether or not Cullen is "for certain" a companion, so that makes it sort of "secret." Top Secret Project Cullen.

Maybe he's writing 'Top Secret', because last time he put Cullen he most likely got in trouble for it haha.

Wow I think that's sarcasm for sure lol. The part that may be top secret is wether or not he's a companion. Maybe he has a major major role.
