Aww, I think it's a really swanky design. Mr. Rhodes did a really good job. I don't see it as Fenris necessarily, because I'm used to the one in game, but I think that design would make a really coolio elf and would've worked well.  

And about to show the difference in preferences here, but I don't mind shaved heads. I don't mind masculine, either. 

Edit: actually, the more I look at it, the more I love that design. I'd be all for some more beefy/masculine/badarse looking elves.  

Good, I'm not the only one  I love the design, screams "escaped slave" more to me than his current attire of random feathers and tights  Always got confused during that banter between Fenris and Varric, when he suggests Fenris try to hide his Lyrium marks. I also like that the sword isn't 5x the size of him, I hated the 2-handed sword models/design.

SO! I'm jumping on the Lola bandwagon and had a Cullen dream last night. Me and Zevran were at an Orlesian ball. Thankfully I wasn't me; I was my inquisitor. (I hate being myself in a dream.) Well I wanted to dance with Cullen, who was kind of hovering on the sidelines, but I was too shy (embarrassed country bumpkin elf not knowing why he was invited to a ball in the first place.) So finally Zevran said if I didn't ask him to dance, then he would do it. I was super mad, though Zevran was laughing lol But finally I got up and asked him, and he said  And then we danced. Such a cute dream lol

Obviously I don't have a problem with masculine characters. It's something I'm personally attracted to. (I'm not actually attracted to Fenris, FYI.) But elves are elves. I hate it when people change them and still call them elves.

He's still slender, if you look at his chest it looks like he's wearing the same armor piece as he does in the actual game. I think it's just the clothing that's making him look bulky. It's not even so much the "beefed up" image that I like about it, is that it looks more tattered and torn. Like he just crawled out of the Hell he was living in and carries everything he owns on his person. I also love the exotic look of his boots, or the dagger in his belt. Also those Lyrium marks look wicked!

I get where you're coming from, but I tend to think that warriors are supposed to lean more towards looking sturdy, with bulky armor and layers. For example Aveline, if they had stuck her in a similar outfit as Fenris, with skintight clothing and exposed skin, almost everyone would be shouting about how they are trying to sex up her image. As it is, they kept her in proper armor that looked similar to her male counterparts.

Slap some hair on this bad boy and make him a different character (not Fenris) and I'd be totes down with that. So long as the pants really are that baggy, and the armor is bulky and not indicative of his true figure.

Also, Fenris' arms were bigger than other male elves. They did that on purpose. So he was better built.

Whenever I have a Cullen dream, I'm never quite sure if I'm "me" or my Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor. He always ends up smiling at me and blushing, and when I wake up, I don't remember any part of the dream except the smile. Such a cute, adorable, sexy smile...

Cullen somehow weasels his way into my regular dreams, too. Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Sorry, didn't mean to rile you up or anything  I love the original Fenris as well, he was my first romance in DA2 with a mage. Went the rivalry path and damn, him muttering in Tevinter gets me every time  I actually tried out an armor mod w/ him, the one w/ the coat, and ended up going back to the original after like 5mins.

Anytime I have a Dragon Age or Cullen related dream, it's always about waiting for the game or playing it, not actually being inside the game itself. I'm so jealous!

In my DAI/Cullen dreams I usually just encounter him and try to recruit him. I did have one once where my Inquisitor and Cullen were getting to know each other and stuff, they clearly liked each other but they kept getting interupted whilst socialising with each other by people needing them to fight things, LOL.

I think the best Cullen dream I had was the most recent one where my Inquisitor, Varric and Cassandra encountered him with Greagoir, he explained that he'd purposely tracked Greagoir down to see why he'd sided with Lambert to annul the Nevarran Accord, but it turned out that Greagoir had gone into retirement shortly before everything had kicked off and it had been the new Knight Commander of the Ferelden circle that had sided with Lambert. At the point we found them they were under attack by the red templars so we helped fight them off.

Almost! I think the last dream I had was that somehow I found out that Cullen was married in Inquisition and I wanted to come on here to complain w/ you guys, and I couldn't for some reason  I'm a strange bird.

One of them had Cullen in it and his new model looked hot but he had this ridiculous facial hair, so I tried to sign into the BSN to complain about it in here but the site was down.

I'm jealous, I love beards (not DD lvl, but yea some scruff is sexy) My bf isn't able to grow facial hair all along his jaw, just around his mouth and side burns, so he can't get that lvl of facial hair that I drool over
