Ok, so I'm working on this Cullen fan video that's set after a pro-mage Hawke 'n' co leave Kirkwall. The idea is that Cullen is basically left to deal with all the sh!te left in the wake of Meredith's rampage. I've got the opening scene done and my god it's depressing already! I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to be able to successfully depict this though, I might cheat and throw in a few scenes from different games that have a similar look.

It's gonna be a tricky one to make since DA2 is kinda limiting for what I'm trying to create. I think I can pull it off without reusing the same old scenes and clips from most Cullen videos, lol.

I think since you're trying to tell a story, it's okay. And also include a disclaimer below that some scenes are from such-and-such game so the haters won't hate *rolls eyes*

if DA2 doesnt have  all the necessary scenese that you are looking for,  I suppose you could import the DA2 Cullen model into DAO tool kit. And then play around with that and get the scenes you desire,  I saw a WIP on youtube  from that one girl who made the Alistair wedding mod, she made a video where she imported DA2 fenris model into DAO it was pretty cool

Oh, completely OT: How I know I'm a bad RPG gamer: I'm playing DA2 on hard for the first time, and yeah, it's REALLY hard. Hawke has died several times; once only Aveline was left lol

And how many people have complained about DA2, saying it's soooo easy even on nightmare.

Huh... of more interest to me is the second sentence.

Let's unpack this. "Romance SOMEONE(=NPC) with THEIR CHARACTER OF CHOICE(=THIS CAN ONLY BE THE INQUISITOR)." So, he didn't say, romance their character of choice. He said romance an NPC with their Inquisitor of choice... suggesting, at least to me, that there will be limitations on who the PC can romance, depending on race/class/whatever.

I had the same thoughts. I imagined that we're going to have more restrictions this time around. I suspect a lot of racial restrictions and unfortunately possibly some orientation ones.

Mind racial restrictions would be enough to satisfy my thirst for variety, but I have to say although I've been contrary so many times before I think I would miss the characters being free to all orientations. GAWD I'm a whiner lol.

Perhaps it'll be a case of all the romanceable characters being bisexual, BUT they'll refuse to romance certain races/classes, for example Varric and his "no humans" policy or (Maker forbid) Cullen and his "I can't shag mages" thing.

I don't like the thought of ANY restriction, only having to work at it a bit harder as one class or race versus another class or race. I'm not sure how I'd feel about a character who flat out said they were not attracted EVER to a certain race.

I think it really depends on the character his/herself. I mean, when it comes to Cullen his strong belief in the Chantry system, the years of brainwashing he's had within the Templar Order, teamed up with his torture and his very real fear of mages power and the possibility that in his mind any mage could become possessed at any moment would be a legit reason for him not to become romantically involved with a mage. That's not to say he wouldn't find one attractive, or even fall in love with one (after all, he has done in the past) BUT, I could totally see him not being able to physically allow himself to do so due to the reasons I mentioned above.

With Varric, I think we'd probably end up with a Garrus scenario, in which he didn't usually go for humans but Shepard was special to him.
