[Commander Kurt]

Evil Chris sometimes made to much of an effort to live up to the name.  I remember Blair stickied the meme thread (and participated with a few of his own), only for Priestly to march in and tear it down. It was just really dismissive and rude to both Blair and those posting in the thread.

Stuff like that makes me miss him less.

@Chanda, yeah I miss Priestly, too. He was pretty active w/the BSN. Mind you, I always suspected he was lying abt ...stuff..90% of the time, and he talked alot of smack lol! But he held down the fort, and us connected w/BW.

@Kurt, you knooow, the ME team was never really active on the ME forums. Not that I can remember. Not at all. Maybe...rarely. Way before ME3. They were never there, that's why the DA forum kinda blew my mind cuz the devs were so vocal and participated quite often.

Gaider, well, I think he's just one of us now. The BSN Taint is deep in his blood now. lol! He starts hearing the BSN calling to him--singing!-- and he must seek it out.

I used to be terrified of Evil Chris, but he's actually super nice. Gaider still scares the **** out of me, despite people saying that he's very pleasant in real life.

Me too. I dunno what Jessica Merizan is supposed to do in her Community Manager role, but I'm pretty sure it involves doing some sort of moderating and communicating with the fans... I've yet to see any of that since Evil Chris left. 

Yeah, I've been wondering about this, too. Like, I've heard her mention Reddit when talking on camera about her job, which kinda suggests to me that perhaps the communites she's interacting with just aren't on BSN. Which is odd since, you know, the B in BSN stands for Bioware. #puzzled

Oh. *sighs* I seriously don't get why people gotta be hatin' on my homies. I loved every single companion in DAII, and it irks me whenever people say "I hate them" or "they're stupid" just because the companions don't believe in the same things. It's really irritating. But to each their own, I guess.

I have a GIF reaction too, but I'll keep it to myself.

Perhaps the BSN puts her off, it's not the nicest of places. Regardless, it's part of her job description to do stuff on here and she hasn't been.

Gaider is actually the one I trust the most out of all of them. Not because I think the others are lying, but they're choosing their words. Gaider never does (which is kinda funny coming from a fiction writer). I like that about him actually.

But that actually is promoting/marketing so I think I agree with Lola and R2. The userbase isn't massive, but the people here represent the very first scores on metacritic and such. Taking care of your customers is plenty cheaper than attracting new ones.

Obviously there's more to her job than just sitting on forums, but she's supposed to be liasing with the fans on here too, not just at conventions and cosplay events.

I'm probably completely wrong, but to people on the outside it looks like she spends more time doing her cosplay stuff, starring on TV representing Crabcat and popping up in YT videos, none of which has had anything to do with BioWare.

Well it is true that she doesn't really come to the forums at all and your right that IS part of her job...but I suppose that not all the community managers HAVE to be in the forums, Im sure that they have different assignments for everyone so I guess Jessica is more with cosplaying and such.

I just wonder how she's able to do her Community Manager job when she seems to be jetting off all over the place doing her cosplaying. It's not like she's there representing BioWare, so it's not a case of them sending her up there to do her thing.

No disrespect to her or anything, I'm just curious about how she juggles it all. You have to wonder what her role as Community Manager actually entails and how much of those requirements within her position at BioWare she's actually fulfilling.

Im sure she does stuff for BW even if we dont actually notice it, sure most of the time she talks about her Crabcat but thats not to say shes not really doing anything "off screen". But yea I really dont know what the deal is, or how things are handled in that particular job, so I'm mostly just guessing, cause I have no clue what is actually going on there...

Jessica is probably working her butt of behind the scenes for BW.

Community Manager doesn’t necessary mean constantly talking on the forums. What the DA team does here is unusual. Usually there are volunteers who monitor forums. Actually I think the role Jessica has I more Marketing than Community, though the Nordic EA Community guys tells me BW is more Community than any other EA game labels.

I was playing Crusader Kings II the other day, and I wasn't really feeling properly serious so I splintered my saves off and started naming my Empress' children after Cullen thread peoples, or just representatives if I thought your names were too weird. I had Lola, (self-explanatory), Leia, (that's you R2), Kurt, (obvious), Aggie, (ag99).... The list goes on, my Empress is lustful so has many children. Anyway, one of my daughters turned out to be a dwarf so I'm like, CHANDA'S AVATAR'S A DWARF! So I name her Chanda. About twenty years later I start handing out titles to my children and I made Chanda Queen of France. Just two months later, she starts rebelling against me, takes my title and leaves as the bloody Duchess of Essex. And I'm fuming of course after I was so nice to all my children, so just laughed and watched as Empress Chanda I's empire just crumbled from losing independence wars.

Then of course I died and had to play as her....

The only time I've personally seen her on here was when she posted that thread for hoda. I think it was mentioned that she was the main event/convention manager but Chris was the online one? Then when he was let go/left she sort of inherited his online job, but focuses on the social network aspect.

She has been super quiet on Twitter though lately.

Yeah, there's a reason Steam says I've played more than 240 hours of it.  Sometimes, I'm just setting up intricate webs of marriages for certain titles and then assasinating family members who either pose a threat to me, or aren't useful at all, like my inbred children, (which, thanks to the desirable genetic traits in this game, happens more often than you would think).

You know I had a weird thought after reading a thread on dragon mounts. What if our Inquisitor fulfills some ancient prophecy. Maybe it has something to do with Dragons given all the motifs.

It would also explain why characters of different races where able to become the Inquisitor. It might be a little lame, but it could work maybe. What do you all think?
