Oooh Chanda! News for you! Well sort of news, not really news at all actually, but still. I was playing Crusader Kings II the other day, and I wasn't really feeling properly serious so I splintered my saves off and started naming my Empress' children after Cullen thread peoples, or just representatives if I thought your names were too weird. I had Lola, (self-explanatory), Leia, (that's you R2), Kurt, (obvious), Aggie, (ag99).... The list goes on, my Empress is lustful so has many children. Anyway, one of my daughters turned out to be a dwarf so I'm like, CHANDA'S AVATAR'S A DWARF! So I name her Chanda. About twenty years later I start handing out titles to my children and I made Chanda Queen of France. Just two months later, she starts rebelling against me, takes my title and leaves as the bloody Duchess of Essex. And I'm fuming of course after I was so nice to all my children, so just laughed and watched as Empress Chanda I's empire just crumbled from losing independence wars.
Then of course I died and had to play as her....

You know I had a weird thought after reading a thread on dragon mounts. What if our Inquisitor fulfills some ancient prophecy. Maybe it has something to do with Dragons given all the motifs.
It would also explain why characters of different races where able to become the Inquisitor. It might be a little lame, but it could work maybe. What do you all think?
sorry if this has been brought up before.
Well in one of the concept arts there was a pic of a woman inq that kind of looked like she was tameing a dragon, to me she kind of look human... maybe an elf perhaps, but I would assume that elfs would maybe have more "power" in tameing animals (specially dalish) or maybe Qunari since they kind of resemble them,(dragons) idk im just spit balling here:P

What if we have to drink dragon blood in order to obtain the power we need to control the Inquisition and build an army? Isn't that how Kink Calenhad took over Ferelden?ag99 wrote...

I honestly can't remember what I named child you. All I remember is that I named two children after you because the first one got pneumonia and died and then I felt bad.

U know you kind of make a good point, If I recall right, in DAO in the sacred ashes quest you had the option to drink dragon blood (i think?) but even if you did I dont really recall of anything "glorious" happen to our warden .. so idk.. perhaps it would be possible with the right kind of magic I suppose

Aww, you think of us as your useless, inbred children?

As much as I love that sassy hat, it's odd to see it in the DA universe. If you get it in Orlais, however...that makes sense. XD Still going to swear the hell out of that had.

And you know what, I agree. I really miss having a community manager active on the forums. I miss Chris! Jessica started working right after the ME3 release, so I bet she got scared away. Hehe.
Ag99. Hm... Don't want to say too much here.

I think too that the coat is made of leather Ag99.
That game sounds both funny as hell as disturbing Elfman XD Too bad I already have waaaay too many hobbies/things to do for the amount of spare time...
I like that theory Danny. Perhaps the inquisitor survives the veil tearing because he/she has dragonblood? Hmm... sounds a bit too much like a skyrim ripoff, maybe....

I remember playing this old game called Oregon Trail or something when I was younger. I named one of the travelers after my brother, and the traveler died of dysentery. I felt so bad, but I still laughed.

Oh, I just realized that's what you said.
You unlock the Reaver ability in DAO after defiling the Urn of Sacred Ashes. It's supposed to make you stronger and more powerful. Maybe they'll make the ability more potent in Inquisition. And it might give us the ability to control dragons, like Alistair sorta did in the Silent Grove. I mean, he didn't control the dragon directly, but, according to Yavana, the dragon did not attack him because of the dragon blood in his veins. If dragons won't attack the Inquisitor after s/he drinks the blood, that makes it easier to control them.

I suspect that's because the dragon was intelligent enough to recognize that Alistair was the key to releasing its brethren, perhaps as a result of its link to Yavana.
Other dragons had no problem attacking Alistair in DAO, and it's not like he didn't have dragon blood then.

True. Alistair was attacked by dragons in DAO. I just thought it was one of those parts of the lore they had to ignore for the sake of gameplay. Kind of like how the Warden's companions never contracted the Taint even though they fought at the Warden's side against darkspawn for months.thats1evildude wrote...

Have you looked at those in game screen shots of Sassy pimp hat Inquisitor? Maybe those can give you a few more clues. The hat ended up looking a little different to me than I'd imagined from that image you posted from Cameron interview thingie.ag99 wrote...
Thank you guys for the input I really appreciate it, and Scr0ll yea the inside of the coat does look like it has some sort of fur lining or something, thanx once again guys
On the flappy bits between his legs, I honestly thought it was more like linen or something rough and cloth-like, like that.

Thing is, though, this skirts awfully close to sentient dragons, which DG has said explicitly do not exist.TheBioticAssassin wrote...

What I still find odd is that, even after Alistair killed Yavana, the dragon still didn't kill him. The dragon even saw Alistair kill her right in front of its eyes, yet it didn't attack.
Alistair: Going to eat me? ... I didn't think so.
