I would just flip if they announced Varric as an LI. We already know that he's a companion, so that wouldn't be spoiled if they were trying to keep some companions a secret. But I would be so happy. I'd be like, YES! Finally!

Nice interview Wiedzmin! I'm curious what the music is going to be like. I liked Inon Zurs stuffs too, but I agree that only a few songs keep sticking.

Oh yeah, someone a few pages back was saying they couldn't get to the DAO web page. It's still there, you just have to hunt for it. If you scroll down to the bottom of the Inquisition page, there's a link for DAO and also one for DA2.

I've got a Cullen question.

On a couple of the forums I have seen posters talking about Cullen saying that he will keep an eye on Bethany.

I have tried looking for a YouTube video, but all I find are his conversations, and dialogue when clicked in the Gallows. The only time I have found him talking about Bethany is when he takes her to the Gallows and when he tells you he has heard rumors about her.

Does anyone know when he says this, if at all?

hmm, I'm not aware of this, but admittedly it's been a while since I've done a full playthrough where Beth went to the Circle (which IIRC was only on my first PT).

TBH, this actually reminds me of the practice plot David Gaider wrote on his Tumblr to describe to fans how he and the writers write short plots. Hawke sneaks into the Gallows to see Beth and gets caught by Cullen, who can let Hawke see her anyway. Dunno if perhaps that was the reference.

I've never heard this said either.

My playthroughs are limited to mage Hawke's, so my knowledge of Bethany scenes comes from youtube.

This may be what they are talking about. Though I'm doubtful it can really be used as strong evidence in favor of Cullen. If I remember that example correct there was going to be a possible persuade check that Hawke would have to pass in order to see Bethany. Just my opinion though.

Nah, I like it. It shows his two sides: lawful templar v. compassionate person. The persuade check leans towards one, but the other is just as much as part of his character. It's what makes him so interesting.

Couldn't this basically be true for all of the party members with the Friendship/Rivalry system?

Nothing yet. They said they were going to send us an email with more details and get us to sign an NDA. They haven't sent it yet though.
