No one needs to worry about making me feel unwelcome on this board. Like I said the reason it took so long to reply was I have work to do, and it required the dismantling of my computer. I never once felt like a was being singled out.

I think we're just all a bit hyper sensitive to things that may make people feel excluded recently, after what happened with MageTarot and everything.

I saw R2s pic of Cullen in a warden get up. If we r able to change colors n what not on companions, and if Cullen to is a companion...boy is going to be in blue!

Its been a while since I played DA2, but the easiest example I can give is the Anders friendship/rivalry when it comes to Justice. If we are friendly to Anders he accepts Justice as part of him, and will reject him is rivaled.

The same goes for Cullen, if we encourage mercy he tends to show it even though he appears to dislike this decision (just my opinion) , and will go more zealot if we encourage that.

While I have seen many posters that are fanatical when it comes to bashing Cullen, there are also a fair amount that dislike him for reasonable things. I personally don't see Cullen as a lunatic, I believe that he is a human being. However, I'm not a fan of him, due to the decisions I saw him make throughout DA2.

Oh okay. I still don't really see how that negates my point... that he wrestles between his lawful templar side and his compassionate side. That is what makes him such an interesting character.

I wasn't trying to negate your point Motomotogirl, I'm just saying that in my opinion this internal conflict Cullen has is not exclusively his.

Characters like Sebastian, Anders, and Aveline all have this as well. They each have gone through their own hardships, and like Cullen our influence will affect which side of their character we see.

That's all I'm trying to get at.

I do feel like I have to have a disclaimer on any sentence, which is kind of a shame. I don't think you have to add disclaimers or change the way you speak/type. MageTarot left for reasons unknown; s/he claimed his/her posts were being ignored, but we know that wasn't the case. The overcompensating leads to unintentionally hurting others. We were a perfectly wonderful thread before all these ridiculously hurt feelings, and there's no reason to change that.

Right, no, of course it's not exclusively his. His own unique situation is his own though, of course. But this complexity of character, this internal struggle, is what makes him an excellent candidate for a companion (like Sebastian, Anders, and Aveline). That's what makes a character interesting: conflict. Cullen, he has it

Purple is my favorite color!  My inquisitor will definitely be in purple. A purple Dalish... yes that makes perfect sense  ... Ask me if I care 

Everyone looks good in the Warden outfit for some reason... just a really nice set of armor, both the heavy and the mage. I remember when we got it as a prize from completing Legacy, and my Hawke wore it all through MOTA. I didn't know it was a Warden set. Afterward I realized how stupid it was for Hawke to prance around Orlais in Warden get-up! Man, to think I was so ignorant about DA lore back then... and now I'm hardly a lore expert LOL!

I used to like purple, but now I think it's sort of weirdly sexual and sleazy, especially the pinker purples. So now purple for me! Haha.

I want my elf and her Inquisition to be red and black. My next two will probably be the Hogwarts houses colours. Like my qunari will be Ravenclaw essentially, my human Hufflepuff, (even though she's way more Syltherin). Still unsure about my dwarf, but I've only just decided on a name I like for her. Ren.

All I can think of is being hired by BioWare and being in one of these sessions and being someone who....just....bombs. Its like I'm working with Sheryl, David and Patrick and they set up this awesome piece of dialogue and it comes to my bit and I'm like "....Cheese...." and they just stare at me.

Lol I have a hard time being funny in dialogue. I try to get it across with silence or stares. Non-verbal cues are what I'm good at.

But also... doesn't this show that he is in their thoughts? When they joke about their characters, it's a sign of love, I think. Could definitely show that Cullen is being written or has been written recently.

I love Grey Warden armor and the color purple. If there is Grey Warden armor available in Inquisition, I will somehow mod it to be purple. Cullen will look so handsome in purple.
