If I didn't know the context I would say it's a "I'm sexy and I know it." look. Smug would be my first guess lol.
Anyway for the folks who weren't sure DG confirmed Qunari players will in fact be Tal'Vashoth.

Cool. Nice to hear it confirmed again by WoG.

Mr. Gaider, I always assume Qunari born outside the Qun are just called Qunari while the Tal-Vashoth are those who abandoned the Qun, so when you said Tal-Vashoth, does it mean we're ex-quanri?
Mary tells me that the PC would technically just be Vashoth. Either way, it's a distinction that's only going to be relevant to the Qunari themselves. Everyone else will simply say "Qunari", no matter where you were born.
So, Vashoth, not Tal-Vashoth. Um, ok!
Also: so Mary Kirby is the qunari expert...? Could this mean something about who she's writing...? Or is it just another indicator that she wrote Sten?
Ah, so we're a qunari that had nothing to do with the Qun at all? I thought that might be the case, and would be rather interesting I think! I'm already imagining a qunari who was found and adopted or something, and grew up in a normal village or something~
And I'm still, at the moment, at least, headcanoning that Patrick wrote Iron Bull, but Mary Kirby could still be a Qunari expert! Especially with Sten under her belt. And maybe other qunaris? We'll see, I suppose!
