Have you guys seen this yet? They're going to be releasing "Character Kits" for cosplayers/fan artists/etc. So far they've only posted Morrigan, but we should be getting new Inquisition characters at some point.

Yes I just read this! She says, "Please keep an eye out for new Dragon Age: Inquisition Character Kits in the coming weeks and months. You’ll see new and familiar faces that I hope create discussion and curiosity about what is yet to come, just like our demos do."

Man, they are REALLY REALLY STUCK on these darn "iconic looks." Obviously it is for marketing purposes. You don't hire someone to play dress up at various conventions if it's not to help sell your product. Hmmm. I'm grateful that we will at least be able to influence companion outifts to SOME degree though.

But I think this could suggest we will be knowing more about our companions in the coming months?!

Possibly. But they would more likely start with companions that have been announced. I can see them doing a Vivienne or Cassandra next, or heck even Holly's Inquisitor. So it might not necessarily be an indication that companions are coming soon. Although, I think we will get our glimpses of new companions in some of these new Dev Diaries.

Yeah, hard to say. I bet you're right that the Varric, Cass and Viv ones would probably come out before any other followers. But then again, maybe this is their new angle on sharing follower info, and we'll meet Beardy Grey Warden in all his detailed GW finery!!  :swoon:

Yeah, I've been under the weather again. That and there's like 6 feet of snow in my yard and it's been -45 celsius here. Been a little busy here. But I always pop in the thread on my phone. Just hate writing anything because my phone tends to muck it up. CullenKnights, came up with that cause I was tired lol

Holy freakking cow. Posted Image I'm not sure people understand what happens to a human body under those conditions but we regularly fall below -30 and that's when the hairs near your eyes and in your nose freeze together instantly on contact with the air and you can't really breathe through your mouth without doing damage to your lungs.

I've gone as far as -37, can't imagine how utterly painful -45 must be.

It got down to about -8 celsius down here in Louisiana and we all just about died  Seriously, I never knew winter could "hurt."

Wow, I had no idea you guys got snow and minus degrees down there. Thought it was the tropics basically.

Yup, winter is a pain. Literally. There's a reason why pretty much every village in Sweden has an airport with direct flights to Thailand.

LOL That would be kinda funny.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Act 1. Scene i. Grand Cathedral, Val Royeaux.

Pan across crowded square before cathedral. Crowd is cheering, holding hands, and singing kumbaya. Zoom in on raised dais at its center where Divine Justinia V holds aloft the hand of Grand Enchanter Fiona.

"And one more time... *sings*
The templar and the mage should be friends!
Oh the templar and the mage should be friends.
One man likes to shoot lightning around, the other likes to smite them down,
but that's no reason why they can't be friends..."

I have to say, the corset on the outside is very strange. I've always associated that with prostitutes. But I confess I know more about 19th century fashion than anything else.

AND ... I also think Vivienne or Cassandra will be next, followed by Varric. Then... four months later... maybe, maybe the Grey Warden. Sigh.

Normally it doesn't (and it's funny to see you say "minus degrees" since in Farenheit that's still just 17 degrees, hehe), but we've been dealing with several polar vortices in this country (and perhaps elsewhere?) that have been dipping us 10-15 degrees below average.

I agree with you, but I think it's really sad that the male cosplayers get no love from bioware. I mean, what if you're really tall? And, you know, enjoy the added comfort of wearing armor with a skirt.  What then? You're screwed, that's what. It'll be months before you can start working on an outfit.

That's just wrong.

It's crazy warm here instead, today we had -1 degree which is freakishly high for the season. Scary stuff.

@Lola, when Lady Insanity gets to her Cullen DA Talk, both you and MD have to make a guest appearance to add in your "input".

I was looking for some place local for Valentine's dinner and stumbled across it. Take out a loan, indeed. Our Knight Captain is raking in the big bucks. Maybe he can afford for our Inquisitor to get a gift from their LI this game. Ahem.

I have to say, I personally really like the iconic looks and love the effort they're going into with how the different armour will change to match those iconic looks. It is pleasing to the graphic designer in me.

Also, and much more importantly, that Morrigan model looks gorgeous

Jessica Merizan just ask an interesting question on Twitter:

"If you were in the VO booth with Brian Bloom and Claudia Black, what would you ask them?"

To Claudia:....I love you *it's definitely a question*

As much as I love the VOs in games unless they play the games they act in I don't really have much to say to them. Maybe thanks for being so awesome and lending your voice, but idk not much else to say on my part lol. It's why I like Felicia Day so much, I could talk to her about it.

I'd ask Claudia if she prefers playing heroes or villains, with an addendum, how does she make the fandom still fall in love with her even when playing the latter?

I'd ask Brian what his favourite live action and voice acting roles were and if he has any plans to continue screenwriting, as I really thought the A-Team film was funny, smart and entertaining?

And to Jessica I'd simply ask, how awesome is your job and how can I apply for one like it?
