I can't help but think it's this. Like he's messin with us because he figures he'll eventually get the call. I dunno, it's not like it's so far in the future that Alistair wouldn't still be a player in the world (if he's alive). Esp if the Inquisitor is such a big hot shot. I mean, it honestly would make more sense to me that the Inquisitor would meet the King of Ferelden than the Champion. So, I'm reserving my tears for now... *sniff*wibble*LolaLei wrote...

It's early days still, they're still recording dialogue as we speak. If he appears it'll only be a quick cameo, which wouldn't take long to do. I'd presume they'd leave that sort of thing until last.

I posted it on tumblr a couple of days ago, but I did some editing and feel comfortable enough to share it with the thread. It's a little steamy in a a few places, but it's a lot less blatant than usual. It probably could have been T, but I decided to play it safe with M.

Oooh, I got that beta, too! Too bad I have to work all weekend. Like literally all weekend. 7AM to midnight, then back in at 7AM until midnight. At least I can play it on Monday.

Ooh look at that jaw!
Vivienne better step up her game if she expects to be romanced by my human Inquisitor now. I need sassiness and ****iness, primarily targetted at the Inquisitor. The Qun demands it! But seriously, Vivienne's losing pretty badly at the moment. I mean, David Gaider is writing Cassandra for god's sake! How could I deny my Inquisitor that romance and heartache and other Gaider hallmarks!

Well, they might do something more sensible this time and somehow move or archive the old stuff, but I'm not optimistic. And, yeah, the old site wasn't called Bioware Social Network, it was just Bioware or something. I can't immediately find a link to it anymore, but it's still out there, without its forums and generally unindexed by the Internet Wayback Machine.ag99 wrote...

It also hasn't been clear if they'd want to move to a totally new platform or not. They hinted with that user survey, but your email about the Keep is the first I've heard of them actually doing it.

Hey I just logged on to let you know how great I thought this was! I really liked the story and your style of writing is extremely nice. I loved the way the story flowed and your characters interaction was really sweet and touching. Another thing I thought was cool was that even though it wasn't super long I felt like I understood them and had a general idea of their personality, so kudos there! I'm always impressed when someone is talented at writing like this, so it's always a pleasure to read a well written story!
Ok, sorry enough gushing! But I'm going to check out and see if you have written other things on there now. Mwhahaha!

I can't wait to find out!
I don't see him has having that aggressive angle thing going on, though (or the eye makeup!). He's got a rigidness about him, just as Cassandra does (get your mind out of the gutter, berelinde...) but he is more patient about his need to act. That isn't the best way to put it, but my brain isn't working too well right now. If Cassandra were an element, she'd be fire. She's aggressive, yes, but it's because she's passionate. Cullen's passions are slower, less volatile. His element would be earth.

Agreed. Based on the artist's approach I'd say he'd probably have the signs of battles past etched into his skin, so there would probably be at least one scar or burn on his face somewhere. He's bound to be battle weary by now, so he'll still have that slight sad expression on his face. The tired purple/dark circles under his eyes may be ever so slightly more pronounced (since apparently DAI happens not long after DA2). And he's bound to have that strong jaw line like he's always had, to represent steely determination.

How is he allowed to do that when everyone has to sign a NDA? Does he get special permission or something?

Angry Joe is a famous YouTuber and well respected within the games industry, plus it's his job to get his stuff out early so they gave him permission to do so. He says at the beginning of the vid.
