I accidentally killed someone in Whiterun and everyone started attacking me... so I defended myself and now there's only a few people left there. :-/
I got tired of the little kids telling me I was another servant there to lick their father's boot or something like that. I ended up installing that killable children mod(I know, I'm a terrible person). I couldn't control the inner beast inside me. Turned into a werewolf and made Whiterun a complete ghost town...including the children. Little snots. I'm a terrible human.
It's the kids that I wanted to kill the most. I like the Jarl of Whiterun though... Mostly because I've been watching Mans1ay3r videos again!

It's a question that's been on my mind for a while now is all...

But, who knows? I certainly don't. If it was a companion/LI, then I imagine the character would prolly be carried over w/a diff writer. The char may already be established regardless of the writer.
p.s. why are you scared and worried? what's going on?

Uh, well, I think Hepler's char. prolly got passed to another writer. I suspect even that Gaider may be talking abt that char. when he was talking abt having to do a huge rewrite of a cuz plot changes.

Well I was scared and worried of talking to Gaider because I'm insane. I really overthink conversations in hindsight and things like email and talking over the internet are just as bad, of not worse because there's no real established etiquette as far as I'm aware beyond not being a dick. I always end up saying the wrong thing or laughing inappropriately.
But the reason I was concerned about Hepler's writing is part because I do genuinely enjoy the dwarf lore and I don't want to see it go downhill or ignored as the series continues, and part that she wrote Cullen in DA2, therefore it seems logical that Cullen would be her character in DAI. Obviously, I don't want him to be scrapped, or written badly/inconsistently due to changes in the writer.

Oh, so we don't know who is writing Cullen in DAI? If it is DG, I wonder how he'll re-write him. I had been worried about Cullen's character, too. There's been this thought in my head that he'd be full of angst if Gaider wrote his character, a la Fenris, but then I remembered that DG also wrote Alistair, who was really funny, and sweet if you romanced him. So now I'm not sure what to think. But I hope he'll be great, however he is written.
And also Morrigan and Zev...
You don't always write the same kind of character... especially as time passes, you grow and change as a writer.
There is an authenticity about DG's characters that just makes me marvel and sigh. His dialogue is just, wow. Of course, I'm sure they all edit and re-write one another's work to the n'th degree, so my marveling and sighing may be meaningless.

I think he deserves the marvelling and sighing. Not only are his characters one helluva 'read' in games, but his book characters are great too.
I will admit it boggles my mind every time someone frets over a writer because 'he wrote this character and I'm afraid he'll write this other character exactly the same.' Writers wouldn't get far in anything if they only wrote one type of character, and David Gaider, as well as the rest of the team, have already said they DON'T want to write the same type of character/romance more than once.
Sure, there's similarities in characters if you paint them with a very, very, very broad brush, but that doesn't make them the same character or anything. It just mans they might have similar issues as one of their flaws (such as overconfidence or insecurity or whatever) or they might have the same strength (like being brave, kind, or witty.)
--not saying you do that MMG! I just happened to get on the subject because of the these worries I've seen floating around and you and Chandra happened to be who I quoted.

However, there is an authenticity to his writing, and that is what connects his characters to me. They do share something, and it's this. They're so real and flawed and yet perfect.
I don't want to disparage the other writers; Isabela's one of my favorites, after all. But yeah, just something special about a DG character. Well, he's mentioned he admires Joss Whedon, and I think it shows. Not that he "copies" Whedon but that you can tell he's a writer who admires good, authentic dialogue, as well as characters who seem simple on the surface but are actually quite layered.
Oh, btw, speaking of Joss Whedon and characters, I was in NOLA this weekend and I spotted the actor who plays Wash in Firefly/Serenity eating breakfast at our hotel xDDDD <3<3<3

I think the Chant of Light is their main religious text, yeah.
Who wrote the Chant? Is it the teachings of Andraste?
