Yay! Reason I am already planning is because the hotel rooms are already getting sold out, and I don't really feel like paying top notch for a room. I think it is a bit too far to drive back and forth from home each day.

I was at a Best Western last year, was about 80 Euro a night. The Cologne Trade Fair building has a subway stop right by it, so you could try and get a hotel a bit more outside of Cologne, but as long as you still have a subway stop close by, your good to go. My hotel was about 5 minute walk to the next subway stop and it was two stops to the Messe building.

To my horror I've realised that even though I can transfer over my Xbox 360 saves onto my PC, I can't actually turn them into playable files for my PC DA games.

Soooooo, I've had to start all over again on the PC with my ultimate canon save files to be "imported". I know the DA Keep won't need them, but I'd like to have access to them for my DA related videos, plus I'm planning on doing a video about my canon DA protagonists, so I kinda need them so that I can record footage.

... This is gonna be one hell of a drain, I love both DA:O and DA2 but I've played through them so many times now that it feels like a chore.

(EDIT: I really can't think of any cheese puns right now, even though I really want to, because I'm feeling kind of bleu. But if you think of any, be sure to teleme!)

Play them on hard or nightmare. It does make them more difficult, and engages your mind in a way the game hasn't before. I'm enjoying my Hawke + Fenris only hard playthrough of DA2.

It'll be a work in progress now that I have to replay both games, but I thought it would be a good idea to make a video talking about my two Protagonist's from both DA games so far, what race/origin/tone/gender/romances/options I picked and why. People kept asking me about them in the comment section of my videos, and since DAI comes out this year it seemed like a good idea to get it documented on my channel.

At the moment I have a reservation for a room at 500m or so from the messe, for 125 euro/night. I prefer not to go by public transport, with my outfit... especially not in high traffic

Ack, that sucks  At least you'll be able to use all those cool mods through the whole thing though, right? Once you get the Deep Roads and the Sacred Ashes quest lines done, it does seem to become less painful. Try to pace yourself on the Alistair romance too. One time I forced myself to talk to him only after I completed each major quest, gave me something to look forward to at the end of the grind

You could also try Skip the Fade mod and the like to shorten... ?

I think that MAYBE the only character/class he may dump  might be a mage.... (depending on ur actions ofc) like if your a blood mage or something

Ooh and the thing about the skeleton holding the cheese. I do hope it's not Alistair. Maybe it's just an awww moment for us Alistair fans as well. Like a reminder that he really isn't in this game. Hopefully that doesn't appear in the deep roads.
