I was wondering something... you know how @dragonage always post fan art from ppl? Why is it always fan art about Morrigan Leliana or Merril or Isabella I have yet to see a fan art they posted about a male character ... are they only interested in Female character fan arts?  Im not even going to think of them posting a Cullen fan art pic guess that would be  way over the top...<_<

You know, that's a very good point you make. However, I don't think the Dragon Age twitter is run by the devs. It's more than likely run by the Marketing Department, who answers to EA, and so they put out info about the characters that *they* believe are more important and will "attact" more people.

Thanks, R2, for posting that link! I'd been saving Cullen until the the right inspiration coincided with an appropriate day, and I think right about Valentine's Day is perfect for him.

Agree with all you guys. I mean, sheesh, the Fenris tag on tumblr is updated with dozens of new fanarts a day. I'm sure it's the same with the likes of Anders and Alistair. Even an NPC like Cullen should be mentioned from time to time, simply b/c some of the art is so beautiful and deserves recognition.

True, but still there are more characters in the DA universe then just Morrigan Merril Leliana or Isabella.... Unless they just want to apease the straight male crowd for the most part.... they kinda forget that there are also female players who would like to see something diffrent every once in a while other then "SUPER SPECIAL MORRIGAN MONDAY" bs

It's not really like that. But there are different people running different accounts.

I have bombarded one of the mods that help with the Facebook pages for the Nordic countries (most are volunteers) and she has posted most of my recs. I am into some odd pairings... ;-)

Yep, that's it. It's a problem with the industry; it continues to almost exclusively court straight white males. It's a problem that DG has addressed in one of his talks before.

Not gonna lie, BioWare/EA's Marketing team aren't fantastic. I dunno what they're like for other countries, this one sucks!

Totally agreed. For some reason, I imagine there would be some bit of more vocal outcry if they had a sexy, attractive male character being presented in the same fashion, like Alistair, Cullen, Fenris, or Anders.

@Lola, totally agree. There are some things that the Marketing Team totally sucks at doing.

Oh yes, cause Maker forbid that the straight white male crowd might not get 100% of the attention.  I mean, before you know it they might think that there are even other people out there! There would be rumours about even.... forgive me for the bluntness... females! It is quite annoying to me as well that there are only pics out there of Morrigan/Merril cosplay/fanart. Thedas consists of more than just those 2, and from other characters are also amazing fan creations. Why would they not deserve attention too? 'Yes, you are absolutely talented, but as long as your work is not about Morrigan we are not going to showcast it, ktnxbai.'
