Meh.. what else is new? They will evetually turn into hate threads... thats how it usually ends... altho I am quite surprised that the "fanservice Cullen" thread hasnt turned that much into a hate thread or got locked down... I guess thats a plus... but the new Cullen thread is def. a troll one... go figure...

I think this was basically his point, tho, no? The devs know they have lots of fans who aren't the straight male crowd.ag99 wrote...

You know, that's a very good point you make. However, I don't think the Dragon Age twitter is run by the devs. It's more than likely run by the Marketing Department, who answers to EA, and so they put out info about the characters that *they* believe are more important and will "attact" more people.ag99 wrote...
I was wondering something... you know how @dragonage always post fan art from ppl? Why is it always fan art about Morrigan Leliana or Merril or Isabella I have yet to see a fan art they posted about a male character ... are they only interested in Female character fan arts? Im not even going to think of them posting a Cullen fan art pic guess that would be way over the top...<_<
True, but still there are more characters in the DA universe then just Morrigan Merril Leliana or Isabella.... Unless they just want to apease the straight male crowd for the most part.... they kinda forget that there are also female players who would like to see something diffrent every once in a while other then "SUPER SPECIAL MORRIGAN MONDAY" bs

At the end of the day though, EA runs the show in regards to Marketing, devs be damned more or less. They can probably make suggestions (and I feel like they probably have), EA can choose to ignore them in favor of taking the stereotypical approach.ag99 wrote...

Yea, but even tho the devs know that shouldnt it also be some what "important" that the marketing team know that there are more to the DA fan base then just "straight males" ?

I'm just generally damn sick and tired of being told that it's fanservice for me to want Cullen in the game, when so many other people are allowed to fantasize about their favorite characters coming back, with no one slapping them down like we are every goddamn time.

To be fair, they (read: MDarrah) have pledged to include fem!inquisitor in their DA:I marketing. *crosses fingers*eluvianix wrote...
