...which is why we generally stay here. There's just no point anymore.  There will always be a fan who doesn't understand why no one talks about Cullen, so starts a thread. Then there will always be a backlash, in that thread and in perhaps a new thread, with the haters venting. And so it goes... The hate threads still always outnumber the innocent fan threads, because every thread turns into a hate thread. (Plus the bonus that the "why do people like Cullen" questions turn every comment into a comment about his fans, and not about the character. *sigh* Good times)

This has all happened before and it will all happen again.

I get in trouble when I talk like this. But you're right. We don't know squat about Alistair, Zevran, or any of the other male former LIs, but Morrigan and Leliana's place has already been confirmed. Because Maker help them if they don't appease that demographic. Meanwhile, Cullen - an interesting character whose appeal is literally based on potential, not past interaction with a protagonist of any gender - is labeled fanservice. Gotcha.

In other news, Vivienne is making me nervous. I love the character concept, and I'm totally in favor of sassy female mages (Dynaheir was one of my favorite Baldur's Gate characters of all time - "For the right! And I always am!":wub:), David Gaider's enthusiasm for her is making me uncomfortable. He squees about Leliana and Tallis, too, and they're insufferable. I'm just hoping that Vivienne didn't get so much love from the writers that she's become a monster. We aren't talking major malcontent here, nor even genuine worry. Odds are good that I'll love her, since as I said, I adore sassy female wizards with attitude. As long as they give other characters their time in the sun. It's all about balance.

Mostly, though, I want to know about the other followers. I'm sure that Cassandra, Varric, and Vivienne will be major players and possibly the plot-heavy companions, but I'd kinda like to know who else is on the team. Hearing about the other great characters on the roster will put any passing anxiety I have about Vivienne in its place real quick.

The early reveals still remind me of the Origins Sacred Ashes trailer, though: the two female LIs and a badass male. Not that it means anything.

Tequila + Skittles: Mary Kirby said Luke was very specific about it being a handful of Skittles and a swig of tequila. Didn't Gaider say Luke was writing the Sera character? 'Cuz that foodstuffs sounds like the survey description.

And Ortolan Bunting used to be a very.. violent and frou frou way of eating that bird by the French. Vivienne perhaps?

"Deceptive wax fruit" has me a bit apprehensive... will we be led astray by a companion? Someone who looks good enough to eat but it toxic if consumed? Dun dun duuuuun!

I think that Cass and GW would be the tequila and scotch as those type of drinks are pretty strong (as their characters... and not necesarily  the outcome that is form drinking them)  as for the rest of the foods... im not sure where to place them, as I dont really know much of the rest of the companions... but anyways thats how I categorise those 2  "foods"/ drinks
