R2 - I also was wondering where people were! That comic is TOO funny. It seems like Wesley is the only one who knows a mage when he see's one. I kept thinking if your PC was a mage the Templar's would show up and at least harass you. Going to go read fanfic- yeah!

Yeah, I know. I read somewhere that the writers originally had a subplot about the Templars doing just this, but it was dropped for some reason I don't now recall. I think it would have been a nice addition.

"Hmm, if I tilt my head to the side, it sort of looks like a mage's staff ... but still too hard to tell. Oh well!"

Yes, we've all been too quiet. Oh dear. I've been focused on writing about dear Cullen. Crafting my own personal version of him has been a bit too enthralling. BTW, Knight's Bloom Chap 9 is now up.

R2- wonderful, as always! As much as I love to read, I can't write anything to save my life. I can draw and paint, things like that, but writing,no. When I imagine things happening, I see pictures, not words. Kudo's to folks like you and sialater that can "spin a good yarn" !

Cullen is the one of the 2 characters I approve of in DA2 that came from Origins...
I like how in Origins he is just a new Templar who then end up being mentally scarred and hating the mage and stuff. While in DA2 he has more xp (although in a very short time?) and is able to work with the mages like templars really should work.
But the moment he really gained my respect was with the following sentence:

■[To Meredith, on taking responsibility for surrendering mages] "Yes. I believe that’s what being a Templar is about.” (Dragon age wikia)

@heiveldboy - Totally agree. That's probably my favorite moment of Cullen's in DA2, where of course with certain choices by the PC, you can reveal a Cullen who really doesn't agree with Meredith and has a more moderate view of the Order.

In fact, I think I might start writing some DA fanfiction...
