At risk of being a hypocrite, that would really annoy me. Reason being, I'm firmly in the camp of "You can do whatever you want to with your own characters." That means I'm extremely accepting of official characters being written any way the developers see fit... but at the same time I consider the Warden and Hawke my characters, because I put effort and thought into developing them. Twists in their stories are fun, but if the developers completely threw everything I put into them out the window it would make me less excited about investing in another character in the franchise in the future, because my decisions would seem pointless.

I mean, I'm fine with them doing stuff to previous companions once the game is over (even if it does mean that they split with my protagonist) because those are their characters, but I'm not keen on the whole "once you finish the game your protagonist becomes ours again" that DG has often stated. I'd prefer them to just leave them be once the game is over.

I agree on both with the slight change of I'd much rather have them leave the whole romance thing alone rather than break any pair up. I mean I can imagine my Warden and Morrigan seperating for a bit to achieve their goals, but I don't want them to just suddenly say "Welp I got bored of them." Their outcome doesn't have to be sunshine and daisies, but let the choices we've made alone. Is it really vital that Morrigan, Zevran or Fenris don't have feelings for our heroes anymore that the plot requires it? Idk man....idk.

I mean if it's for the plot...and it's going to make the best plot we've ever seen ever.....than sure, but it needs to be just that.

Sorry about that I meant that my observations of him in general not that I thought you were blaming him for anything. I wasn't disagreeing and more just sharing my perspective. 

I agree that it's probably anyone's guess who he was referring to.

On a related subject is it just me or does he seem a little moodier than usual in his posts now? I wonder if it's just a personality trait or if his job has just gotten that much harder as they near convention season.

Same with Alistair. He'd have more reason to make a cameo in DAI than he did in DA2, considering we'll be back in Ferelden again and doing stuff with Grey Warden's at some point (if the trailer is anything to go by), LOL!
