It's quiet....I sense an update fast approaching...yes.

Any ideas on what the first diary will be?

Probably one of these, from the bioware blog.

3. Starting VO recording for large parts of the game (More on this later)

4. Getting music in (More on this later). (Though this may have been covered in the recent interview)

5. Making sure that each class has a distinctive feel: Making sure that the party is a necessary and exciting part of combat (More on this later).

LOL, of course!

I'm hoping we'll get the names of our companions at some point within the next month or so, too. They said we'd be getting them "soon".

Yeah, both Scottish and LadyxInsanity put them up on their channels. Your best bet is to wait for LadyxInsanity's because it comes out in a far higher quality, lol.

R2 and other writers: Any tips on writing Cullen? I'm working on an AU fairy tale fic, but I just don't think I'm very good at portraying him. I'm afraid he's even less noticeably "Cullen" when it's an AU. *worried*

Man, I'm so bored. The sooner this new DAI info comes out the better! I literally can't think of a single topic to talk about currently.

@Lola, hang in there. We have waited about 6 months for this! We can hang on for a few more days. And when the info starts coming out, it's gonna hit us over the head.

I don't know, could we talk about any other games we're excited for this year?

Has it really been 6 months since PAX Prime/GI info? Feels less than that, lol. No wonder everyone is going stir crazy!

The time has flown past! ... Or, at least, it feels like it's flown past now that I look back! At the time if felt like a right drag!

I don't play too many other games, tbh.

We have nine companions, and we already know three. Suppose a companion is released every month? The game is coming out in September? We have exactly six months until then. And six companion reveals left....

Apparently they're still on target for their Fall 2014 release date (according to Mike Laidlaw, 4 hours ago).

I don't know whether to consider this good or bad:

*Name removed*: "Will we still have investigate options as well as neutral dialogue choice?"

Mike Laidlaw: "Writing style is very similar to DAII."

I was hoping we'd get to ask questions in more detail like we could in DA:O, especially when it comes to the companions.

Yeah that really worries me. I really feel those little nitty gritty questions we could ask in DAO were why I was able to grow attached to the DAO companions 10x more than I ever could to a ME squadmate or DA2 companion.

Should tweet them that, maybe they still have time to tweak it.

Well... it makes me kind of happy :P Cause I'm worried the dialogue will be all toneless and void of personality to appease the DA:O fans. So if he says it's like DA2, that makes me happy....

Mmm, not sure what general help I can give. You can PM with your specific scenario if you think it might help..?  In general, thinking about the characteristics I include that folks comment on, I tend to make him very serious, but with understated humor, chivalrous, with a "mom raised him right" kind of spin, and usually a hint over-protective, annoying or not depending on the recipient. I also tend to write him as too nice, so I appreciate it when other writers give him a harder edge. Not sure if that helps in a 'fairy tale' scenario.

Hasn't DG addressed in this rather a lot of detail already??

Okay, if I come across any particularly difficult scenarios that just don't ring true, I will PM you :) I think also part of the difficulty is that my inquisitor is the main character, and that is basically a Mary Sue (well Marty Stu in my case), so it's like my badly written Cullen and an OC. Yikes. But there are cameos from other DA characters, soooo, we'll see how it goes. I'm going for dry humor :P

I've written down a few of his common phrases ("I shudder to think..." "I would be in your debt") to keep me on track.

Thanks for the link; yes it does seem he explained it very perfectly ^_^ Looks like DA:I will be an excellent combination of the two previous games.

To sum: "Why is Cullen so popular? Yes I've read all the other threads that asked this same question. I decided to start my own thread asking the same question. For reasons."

Also, the responses: "Mage origin giggly fangirls" and "fan service" and "I hope he's in DA:I so I can murder him."

Save you all a heap of trouble reading that mess :D

R2: I forgot about those posts DG made. I just hope they're still accurate, it could be that things took more of a DA2 style (for whatever reason) since then.

Some idiot had the audacity to tweet David Gaider this:

User
@davidgaider I hope you can answer this, are we gonna be happy with the female LIs?

David Gaider
@user How could I answer that? Are you a happy person?

User
@davidgaider
Let me rephrase that. Is DA:I a sausage fest with whiney, preachy, emo
dudes who try to have sex with the male Protagonist?

David Gaider ‏@davidgaider
@user What does that have to do with the female love interests, exactly?

User
@davidgaider To make sure straight males have a good variety to choose from when it comes to LIs.

Gaider really should have laid a holy smack down on this idiot.
