Aww they really changed his dialogue there? I thought it was the same as male Hawke. That's a shame 

I'm glad haters haven't taken that single line as a reason to argue for Cass's 100% most-definitely-because-of-that- one-time heterosexuality. (a.k.a. Cullen and the mage origin lol)

Yeah, I usually played as a female, so I really took note when the line was changed to a "has a crush" when I played as a male Hawke. Thought it weird. They could of made both be crushes, or both be hero worshipped, didn't like how they differentiated the two. Could be taken as Varric making assumptions.

Or the hate that Anders was 'all of a sudden bi whilst he was totally crushing on the female warden in Awakening' <_< I'd rather shipped him as homosexual, actually

But I don't get all the hatin'  either... I guess people are just awfully bored and frustrated due to the wait for more info?
I guess I'll stay faaaaar away from the main forum for now, as I'd probably be a total hate-magnet (I love Anders as a character (he seriously intrigues me, as I think he is truely 3D and has several layers), I am totally intrigued by Cullen and want to find out more about him and I am quite middle-ground when it comes to mage vs templar... But to annoy the rabid-mage-fans and the fact that I totally dig the look of it.... I am so going to show off my templar armor when it is finished

Well, I've had to mod DA2, do some Cullen head swaps and use console commands to record all the bits of footage I need, but some of it I can't do because for some reason my game won't let me mod npcs (like Meredith) into Cullen. Soooo, I've asked R2 to record a few crucial scenes for me so that I can add them to my video. It's only today that the story I want it to tell became 100% clear.

It just depends on when she's got some spare time to head/body swap npcs and record it. Editing all the footage together is the easy part, lol.

I was mainly indifferent to Cullen for the most part before I finally tried playing as a mage. And then he got a whole lot more interesting

My daughter drew Cullen for me, based on my description of his personality and some screen shots. Sadly neither of my ungrateful offspring play Dragon Age.  Here it is. (I hope it works!)

Cullen love is ageless. We have 20-somethings as well as 30s and 40s. I'm 33 myself. Not sure if we have anyone in their teens or over 50. But all are welcome.

This truly is one of the most friendly, mature (in the sense that we don't purposefully troll or hurt each other) threads in the BSN. Certainly the only active one in the DA forums that is truly filled with kind people.

I think that's the first time I've actually said how old I am on this site too. 

Yep, was but a wee 14 year old child when I first played DAO. I stood no chance against Alistair and technically, my parents were horrible for buying me an M rated game.

Thanks for the warm welcome I've been reading the BSN since I bought Origins. Love to read it, freaked me out to post because there is so much disdain for the casual gamer. But then I got to do a playtest at EA, and most of them didn't. So HA!

I told her that Cullen was kind of shy and blushy - I was basing this on DAO of course! I may get her to draw me a more mature Cullen in future, if I can endure the eye rolling. I told her I want a series of all my favourites + my characters. Thank goodness I get the family rate!
