And I guess it (the fruit) can symbolize anything that isn't what it seems. Spirit/Demon could work. I took it to mean a character whom we all expect to be a companion but isn't. In my mind it's either Cullen or Iron Bull.

It worked with Justice because he was in a human body both times, but a straight up spirit? I'm not sure. I mean, he might still be in the game. And of course, Bioware will do what they want. It would just surprise me, is all.

Soooo... guess no info to day either..... next week it is then.....
It's about 5:30am in Canada, if we hear anything it won't be until much later on in the day, lol.
The devs have been suuper quiet even on twitter lately.... hope we will get something today or this week or something...
Lol I actually got to have a Cullen/DAI related dream that I actually rememberd lol but it wasnt that good cause I dreamt that Cullen was a companion at 1st but in the end he betrayed us and became the main antagonist and turned into a red templar....... the one dream I have about Cullen and it has to by shtty.. go figure:huh:
Also welcome ShyViolet always happy for new Cullenites.
Funny how I recently discussed with a friend who also likes DA, a similar theory in which Cullen betrays the inquisitor, if he is indeed a companion...

ohmygosh, that's so awesome!!! Welcome to the thread! And, def stay delurked a while. We also have several other 40-something moms floating around, myself included. Although, my five-year old is not nearly the artist your daughter is! LOL Wow!Shyviolet wrote...
This thread has finally dragged me out of a 3.5 year stretch of lurking. Unlike the rest of this forum, which terrifies me, this one seems uh, sane. And hopefully kind to 40 something mums who aren't very good at combat, but love gaming all the same, AND gasp! like the romances.
I was mainly indifferent to Cullen for the most part before I finally tried playing as a mage. And then he got a whole lot more interesting
My daughter drew Cullen for me, based on my description of his personality and some screen shots. Sadly neither of my ungrateful offspring play Dragon Age. Here it is. (I hope it works!)
I love that picture! My daughter drew a Dragon Age picture for me as well, but it's Fenris. Maybe I should see if I can bribe her into drawing Cullen?
40+ mom of three here, btw. Welcome to the lurking! *slides back into the shadows*

Yeah, it looks like you're right. Are you working weekends too? I'm holding out hope for friday (I can't remember what, but we once got info on a friday. As if that means anything).
Naw, but weekends I have the DA DnD and a bunch of stuff to catch up on that I can't do in the week due to work.

Bribery is the most potent tool in my parenting arsenal. My daughter charges for portraits like this, but luckily I get a deal! Which is good because I want Alistair & Fenris next.

Welcome to the thread, Shyviolet, and happy birthday, Lorien!
No need to disclaimer posts when replying to me saying you're not a feminist when analysing gender power structures. I'm not going to jump you and say feminists are terrible people, considering I'm a huge feminist myself (I go to the demonstrations and everything) ^^LolaLei wrote...
That's true. Hell, people have been going on about/squeeing over Morrigan and Leliana for years and they don't have legions of people giving them hell. Is that because Morrigan and Leliana have a large male fanbase? Most likely.
And no, I'm not a feminist or a femi****. I see the attraction to them as much as the next person... I don't find Morrigan attractive though, but that's because she looks too much like me and that would be weird.
Not saying you should label yourself a feminist, I just felt like you were being defensive =)
How does your NDA look? I got an NDA once during an EA playtest, and basically nothing was secret after a certain date. I could retell anything I had seen once that time had come.LolaLei wrote...

@Lola so in that case... I take it that you already know who the companions are?
... These lips are sealed.
I'm merely asking cause when info comes out that you've known a long time, I want to see you laugh, drunk on power, telling us you've known since [whenever you learnt about it]. Unless that's against the rules, of course ^^
I dunno, I'm weird, I like hearing when other people have known stuff in advance and ****. Even though it doesn't really change anything xD
Awesome! ^^ I bet those rings take a long arse time for them to make? =)Scr0ll wrote...
Also this is an IRL friend of mine and I have placed an order. I'm so excited!!! [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/w00t.png[/smilie]
I would totally do this as well, if I could! =D I'm kinda hating on my life schedule being the way it is. I have all the time in the world until September, and after that I'll (hopefully, cause I want that EA job) be incredibly busy learning the methods of a new trade. Inquisition is coming out at the worst possible time for me~Shyviolet wrote...
I really wish they would name a release date so I can book it off work.
You all had better play the game tons. For me!

Oh, I know. It was more of a disclaimer for any lurking trolls, LOL!
My NDA just says I can't talk about anything until they reveal it themselves. So, I guess whenever they reveal stuff that I know, is when I can talk about it.

Yeah, this wait is about 3.5 years versus 1 year and a few months for DA2?LolaLei wrote...
I think this is the longest I've ever waited for a game without losing interest and remained active during its development.

I second this. The only other game I waited for was DA2 and honestly, I didn't find it as lond or as hard as a wait

I was late to discover DA:O, so by the time I'd finished that game DA2 had come out. Same with the Mass Effect games, by the time I finished the first 2 the 3rd one was 2 weeks from release.
