I was around a bit for the ME3 development, I remember stalking the twitter threads and such. I was late to DAO and 2, so I missed that.

Yeah, this wait is about 3.5 years versus 1 year and a few months for DA2?

I was late to discover DA:O, so by the time I'd finished that game DA2 had come out. Same with the Mass Effect games, by the time I finished the first 2 the 3rd one was 2 weeks from release.

DAO, I got for Xmas Eve the year it came out. My husband was so excited he just could wait to give it to me lol. DA2, I preordered. I got into DAO, because I loved KOTOR, and noticed they were coming out with ME, so I got that a few months after it was released. Once I did that, they announced DAO and I was tracking it's progress and commercials and just couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The Awakenings came out, got that the day it arrived in my town. DA2, preoredered that bad boy. Now, I wait patiently.

Even with everyone complaining about their fave games. Wether it be KOTOR, Jade, ME, DA. Bioware has never let me down. It's their story and I've always loved the way it's been told. So with or without Cullen in the next one, I patiently await the arrival of their next game. However, my patience and anxiety are becoming one of the same LOL

Same here, I never really waited for a game in my life... I dont really play that many games as it is... so yea... right now its starting to feel like torture for me lol

I think prior to this, the longest I waited for a game was The Sims 2 when I was still at school. That was different though, because I wasn't emotionally invested in it and I didn't follow the development closely or anything I just knew that it was in development and wanted it to come out quicker, lol.

I've waited for a lot of games, mostly MMOs I've been looking to try out and see how they're are. Waiting for new information is always hard for me, so I distract myself with playing other games.

It's pretty normal the amount of information coming. I'd say I knew almost everything about DA2 when it came out, but there was only so much to say before release so I suspect a smidgen more this time. Expect an official update maybe every two weeks to two months.

I've waited for many games. Waited over a decade for a sequel to Diablo 2. As many figured that wasn't happening, I got over it quickly. So it was a nice surprise when it -did- happen. Right now, awaiting several, especially for the PS4. But I can't recall ever feeling this impatient for one before..

I realllllllllly want DA:I. And the next Mass Effect. And I'm always having to wait for new Silent Hill games. New Silent Hill things haven't been announced at all, none that are genuine anyway, so I've a feeling I'll be waiting a while for that.. so now I wait for The Evil Within. Which comes out in August... gah! So much waiting!

It's the most painful when there's a period of nothing new or interesting between games.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is coming out at the end of the month if anyone was interested in that.

As a general rule, I try not to follow anything too closely because I'm very impatient so waiting for DAI is damn near killing me. Sometimes I go through phases where the wait doesn't seem so bad, but most of the time I'm excited/impatient, lol.

The only game I've ever waited for is Fallout 4. It hasn't been officially announced yet, but I still hold a bit of hope that it's happening.

There have actually been a lot of Fallout 4 hoaxes recently, due to increased hype for the game. *grumbles* Stupid thesurvivor2299.com...

So, if there's only going to be "snippets" out before E3 in June, then what on earth will there be in those 5 dev diaries? Surely not the same recycled stuff we already know about?

Has anyone else had any trouble logging into the threads on the BSN today? Every now and then it'll say that there's something wrong with the cache, or the format will load up all wonky.

Makes me wonder if they're fiddling around with stuff again.
