Hm, I guess maybe June will be when it's all systems go then? Funny, I thought they'd really amp up the promotion of DAI from April.

I would guess the real juicy info will be from the dev diaries over the next month or so, but once summer hits, we will have a real info dump. E3, then PAX Prime. PAX Prime is when we will probably get the most amount of info. I'm thinking a very late October release, or early November.

Yeah, October/November sounds about right! I can't help but wonder if they're gonna move it to early 2015 though. They say they're on target for a Fall release, but they were also insistent that the game was being released in 2013 right up until the last minute!

Seems a contradiction to all the tweets they've been making about revealing lots of cool things "soon"/"very soon". Hell, they even said they'd reveal the companions/LIs "soon". That's definitely more than a snippet.

I think 2 release date pushbacks would officially make me declare an Exalted March on BioWare. I will have that game in the fall one way or another lol.
But if it's in the name of "making a better game", I would be ok with it. However, my expectations will probably be a lot higher, considering all this extra time they have been alloted. It has been damn near 4 years.

Yeah, I mean if it's necessary, then sure, I can deal with the wait. To be honest, if you look at the long view, we have already been through the longest part of the waiting. It's been about 3 years since DA2, we only have about 9 months left. We are in the home stretch, for all intents and purposes.

everyone should know by now that "soon" means withing 6 months to a year...

also that's what they said last year about them being at Pax prime I tweeted Mike and he also gave me the same response that they dont know and guess what they were there and they played a freaking demo

Personally I think they need a new marketing team one where they actually tell ppl some dates as to when the hell are they gonna give some info

That's true. The home stretch is always the most difficult... or at least, it is when you're on the home stretch. Prior to that the first few years wait is the worst, LOL!

Oh yeah! I'd forgotten about that! Maybe they're just REALLY unorganised, or they're purposely playing it down, knowing that they've got something up their sleeve to blow us away.

Oh definitely. I went through high school during that wait lol. I didn't even realize that they were premiering the Fires Above at E3 2013 until about 5 min before it came on. I was screaming so loud that my parents thought I had been stabbed.

I heard several references to a 2013 release, but EVERY instance of that came from fans, and I never saw one official mention of it from any Bioware employee, so I'm kind of skeptical that any of them ever "insisted" it was being released in 2013.  I asked one of them about it in fact and was told that no, no such claim had ever been made.

Perhaps another gameplay session like at PAX Prime last year will become viewable at E3. At the very least, we will have several companions, if not all of them by E3. Hopefully.

Don't bet on that.  Gaider has made it his official position that if it were up to him he wouldn't give out any information about the game at all, ever, before it was released.

I feel like the Marketing is more associated with EA then what we think of as "BioWare". And I agree, the way they market only specific characters can leave a lot to be desired.

On this one issue, I say Gaider can go screw himself lol. Like hell will I wait till the actual release date to get any info. I'm sure as hell not gonna go in to a game blind.
