Also I am so with you about the beta! I would love to watch a dragon age test like he did with skyrim online!  I bet it would be so beautiful...I can see all of us now, "My God...it's full of Cullen." 
My other big hope is that if they DO release something like that it isn't the same area we saw them (show us at pax)but if that's what the Devs choose to do I'll still be happy lol! :happy:

 Yeah, I want more of the combat mechanics. Some things have looked awesome so far, others not so much.

My god, AO3 has so many fics.
I read a rather nice AU where Cullen was a mage and Carver was Templar escorting him from the Gallows to Starkhaven.

What's AO3?  Also there is someone named WarGoddess that does an amazing Carver/Cullen series.  It's like, mind blowingly good! I can get you a link if ya want.  I was seriously impressed at how well written it was.  I should probably leave a comment for her sometime because I enjoyed to much not to!  Has anyone else read it?  Or WROTE it <3:wub:

I live 9-10 hours away depending on weather and traffic conditions. I went to college just outside Boston so I'm pretty familiar with the area and am comfortable driving there, but I'm still comparing whether it would be cheaper and easier to just take the bus to the city and public transit when I get there.

The hotel would be the biggest expense, but I'm trying to talk a couple of friends into going with me to split the cost. I could always pack some of my own food, etc.
I am ridiculous for even considering this!  But it would be fun.


If I get going on my taxes and get a decent refund, that would help a lot, so it's a possibility...

I still hold out hopes of someday meeting fellow DA fans in the offline world to squee about stuff with, but I guess this will not be the time.

Omg, I just looked at Shianni's wiki page and it says if the City Elf makes her the Bann of the Alienage, she gets killed by a human bigot. Her epilogue card is bugged so I've never actually seen it. It's not true is it? Say it's not true.

LOL so I just checked it out and it turns out the author I was talking about was the person that wrote the story eluvianix mentioned that I hadn't seen/read! Oh world, why you so small?

Oh, well, um... I actually DID cry!!!  Yeah I'm a Tamlen x Mahariel fangirl till I die. They belonged together. His life was cut short... I always play it like my Warden is grief-stricken without realizing it because he never realized how much he loved Tamlen (I always play a guy but I ship Tamlen x Lady Mahariel, too). I just love that they were friends who obviously loved one another but never got a chance to really say so or hell live out their lives together. 

I think for that reason I would NOT like a beginning LI, the way Origins had (Gorim also comes to mind; OH GOD GORIM. I very much pretend my Warden was stringing him along but secretly did love him; when she was going to tell him that, god only knows. But then, as always, crap happened.)
