This is amazing!The first time I ran into tamlen in the camp almost made me cry...

Oh, well, um... I actually DID cry!!!  Yeah I'm a Tamlen x Mahariel fangirl till I die. They belonged together. His life was cut short... I always play it like my Warden is grief-stricken without realizing it because he never realized how much he loved Tamlen (I always play a guy but I ship Tamlen x Lady Mahariel, too). I just love that they were friends who obviously loved one another but never got a chance to really say so or hell live out their lives together. 

I think for that reason I would NOT like a beginning LI, the way Origins had (Gorim also comes to mind; OH GOD GORIM. I very much pretend my Warden was stringing him along but secretly did love him; when she was going to tell him that, god only knows. But then, as always, crap happened.)

F you, Origins. F. You. lol

Awww...It was indeed a heartbreaking moment and the worst part is that my Mahariel told Duncan to f*** off(love Duncan though) and wait outside while I searched for Tamlen In the ruins...I wish there was an option to tell Tamplen that you loved him too before killing him in the camp, needles to say that It was my companions who did the killing...My poor elf just couldn't .

Don't get me started about Gorim,my warden cried bitter tears after their reunion:pinched: (at least he alive and well though...)
Tbh I wouldn't mind having some similar backstory(I love drama I cannot lie...),But I doubt it,since the devs said something about not having a detailed origin story, or something along these lines...

Yep, my Warden did the exact same thing; I think Duncan got pissed at some point and was like LOOK HE'S NOT COMING BACK YOU LITTLE SH!T, except, you know, in wise old Duncan words. 

I, too, could not kill him  I just stood there and let the others do it. Truly one of the saddest moments in video game history for me.

Haha! I love that it's possible, but it wouldn't have worked for this particular character. At the time she was a very sheltered, innocent maiden who would have had no idea how to initiate a serious romance or respond to one being initiated. Her crush pretty much consisted of blushing and stammering and sweaty palms. 


After she gained some independence, she developed more self-confidence, and she ended up happily married to King Alistair.

Seriously, when are the Dev diaries going to come out Bioware? Playing SWTOR isn't enough some days when I'm prancing around anxiously for some new information. lol

One of the dev diaries will come out in February. So, that means sometime within the next 8 days, I think.

I have to wonder, though, if that comes up if Anora is queen. I seem to recall that things don't go well for the elves if she is.

Come on Dev Diaries!!! I would think they'd be releasing them sooner than soon. I think it was mentioned somewhere that pre-release orders would start before E3... so that would be the end of May or the first of June.

Going back to the DA:O origins (i'm late to the party), we seriously dodged a bullet with Cullen, they could have easily killed him off, or kept him as some crazed murderer/extreme Knight Commander of Ferelden!

The fact that Bioware choose the "moderate Templar" route for Cullen instead of the equally plausible crazed murderer/extreme Knight Commander of Ferelden path makes me think they have future plans for him. Perhaps as a companion? (Why yes, I'm one of those hopelessly optomistic fangirls.)

Cassandra looks BAD ASS!!!!! Her face is so sharp. I love it. I want to BE her. Definitely a character I can look up to.

Varric also looks great. Harder than his DA2 self.

My ONE complaint: the hair! It looks pretty bad. I'm hoping in-game it will look less blocky and slick?!?!

I like the overall look of Cassandra.. Except the hearts in her shoulder- and bootarmor.. What is the meaning of that? I thought she was a badass... Now, if they are going for contrast, Bioware succeeded all right;)

Hmm, shortly following the death of her brother she joined the Seekers? I wonder if that was the catalyst. I do hope it's more interesting than simply avoiding inheriting the throne of Nevarra, mind. Maybe something to do with the Mortalitasi?
