I just presumed that a dev diary is a video where they talk a little about the game they're working on. If it is then there would have to be some DAI stuff in there, even if it's just things like the writing process or how they moved over to a new engine, etc.

But I think I'm more excited for a possible snippet of information. Like how Cassandra joined the Seekers after her brother's daeath. I need to know more about Vivienne! Why is she pro-Circle? Why is she so fabulous?

TBH I was thinking the same. I'm really expecting some talking heads and more behind the scenes, 'devs had at work on their computers' types of shots. Not a lot of new content.

Yeah, I was waiting for epic disappointment. 
Usually dev diaries are more-ish about the job (dev as in development) and not much about game details. 

I don't know in what direction they are taking this. But surely some tidbits will be shown.

Yay!!! It is really, really fun. Especially if you have the DLC to back it up, it's usually really cheap too. (But I'd wait for the next expansion DLC which is coming out soon because the rest of the DLC will probably have really a good sale on Steam)

Oh and the tutorial is crap, so I'd suggest either play either an Irish Count, or one of the Jimena Kings of Spain to start off.

No. I'm not even going to say it. My mind has gone to some terrible places today. Like that design on Varric's flask? My mind went...waaaayyyy into the Deep Roads. DX

Anyway. The concepts look great. Cass is just gorgeous. The little hearts are just adorable; they could hint to the fact that she does have a softer side...or maybe she's romanceable? 

But what does that say about Varric's flask?

Now...Varric needs to get start dying his hair blonde again. I will take him to the nearest CVS and buy him as many boxes of condoms as he wants. But seriously, he looks good. On Facebook someone gave him a beard and I nearly cried.

Agree. Really looking forward to more on Vivienne. 
And, on the Cassandra brother thing, I think they covered that in DotS, right? He's the reason she used to be very anti-mage.

Alrighty, I know there aren't many PlayStationers on this thread, and I haven't seen any mention of anyone wanting a PS4. But regardless, there's a new trailer out for a PS4 exclusive, that game called The Order 1886.

They've been pretty mum about it since it's debut, but now there's more gameplay and discussion. This particular trailer doesn't really show gameplay or anything, it just reminded me of Templar things so I figured maybe someone would like it.

This game does look pretty neat!  I'm also excited for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor but that isn't just a ps4 exclusive.  Honestly I'm caught between buying a PS4 or just updating my graphics card ( and whatever else it needs) on my pc. I love gaming but I just don't pour hours into it like I did when I was younger.
1886 looked really cool in game informer though.... and there are some other PS4 exclusives that look sweet lol!  Are you planning on getting a Ps4 then?
