Probably isn't hers. Unless he only has it in the saves where your Hawke was a rogue/warrior.

It's NOT hers.  I wouldn't put it past Varric to wear a scarf in her memory, but if you look at the relevant images side by side, they don't look the same.  It's just a case of people reading FAR too much into something without looking at it too closely.

Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me if Varric took up wearing the scarf for Hawke. Not to say that he DID. And that scarf could easily be his own fashion choice/even change colour with his different armours, but red scarfs/the colour red did seem to represent Hawke. And with that boy/gal missing, it's possible Varric is keeping the memory close to his chest.

They've been pretty mum about it since it's debut, but now there's more gameplay and discussion. This particular trailer doesn't really show gameplay or anything, it just reminded me of Templar things so I figured maybe someone would like it.

Honestly, that trailer isn't that great if you ask me. Personally, I'm more interested in Infamous Second Son, and that trailer has done little to change that. I think the world of the Order 1886 seems far more interesting than the characters, which for me isn't a good thing. I don't know of I'd rather actually spend money on the game, or just read the wiki for more information on the world.

Man... that game looks crazy good the graphics are outstanding... pfff was working on my Cullen model when I saw that and ... I got extremely dissapointed... my ****ty render doesnt do Cullen any justice... and I dont feel  like spending 300-600$ or more on a new renderer........... sorry in advance for the page 3000 my pic is gonna look like crap:(

I love the idea of the reaction wheel! It'll be great to choose our characters' emotions at key moments as well as just their words.

For instance, my Hawke killed Anders because she thought it was necessary, but she felt horrible about it. (In headcanon she whispered "I'm sorry" as she stabbed him.) I would love to have been able to indicate that she was regretful rather than having the game interpret any Hawke who made that choice the same way.

TBH I was thinking the same. I'm really expecting some talking heads and more behind the scenes, 'devs had at work on their computers' types of shots. Not a lot of new content.

Yeah, I was picturing a developer diary as more like them describing their jobs, showing some behind the scenes of their workday, etc. Maybe some incidental game info, but I didn't think that revealing game info would be the main focus. Personally I think it would be pretty interesting just to see how they do what they do.

(might have done some other games as well, but don't really remember them )

You might enjoy The Secret World if you haven't given that one a try yet?

Cassandra looks BAD ASS!!!!! Her face is so sharp. I love it. I want to BE her. Definitely a character I can look up to.

Varric also looks great. Harder than his DA2 self.

My ONE complaint: the hair! It looks pretty bad. I'm hoping in-game it will look less blocky and slick?!?! 

I think Cass looks amazing, though she will always be gorgeous....sigh

Anyway I've been a lot more critical of Varric lately. I adore his new model, but his eyes seem less lively than DA2,  but there is still time. I don't much care for the hair color, but I suspect it will change. The last thing I have issues with and really this is subjective is the pauldrons and elbow armor. I think that the *stripped*  down version in the concept is a lot better imo.

As R2 mentioned the whole brother thing can be found in her animated movie. Cliff notes though, blood mages wanted to capture a dragon and Cassandra's brother Anthony was the best dragon hunter in their family. They tried to get him to do it but he refused and so they attacked their village resulting in Anthony's death. Cassandra keeps a grudge against mages going for the majority of her life and it seems she was like twelve years old or younger when she joined.

The Order lost me as a customer when I heard that it's a pretty traditional shooter (3'rd person). It looks beautiful, but my tolerance for shooters is dwindling a little every year.

From what you already showed us (I assume I'm thinking of the right thing lol!) I already thought it was very impressive!  Seriously, I'm absolutely sure it'll look great and I hope you don't worry about it at all.  Honestly let's say in the extremely unlikely event something happeneds and it does look a little off, (and it won't :happy:) I will still be in awe lol! I have no idea how to do that sort of thing and I think it's pretty darn cool that you can.  Also, if anyone gives you any sass about it the Cullen Knights will rise together as one and glare at that person SO HARD!  Insulting GIFS will be posted and chaos will reign!

I don't copslay. I just don't have the time, talent or resources. But I do like the character kits as a non-cosplayer person thing. I would rather they come with some better snippets of information. Like I didn't know that thing about Cassandra's brother, but that was already out there as information. Maybe when they release Vivienne, we'll get some cool stuff we don't know since she's such a blank slate when it comes to fan knowledge outside her fabulousity and her pro-Circleness.

But I was a cosplay human, it'd be something I wish they would continue to develop further on after the release of the game. As Gaider pointed out, Cassandra has other looks, and I know I probably would favour a trench coat style if Iw as going to cosplay as her. Varric cosplayers will also definitely prefer a chest hair version to one where it's covered, so yeah, more are probably needed for each look.

LOL, well ty ur too kind.. I was trying to make something along these lines  http://www.marmoset...._contractor.jpg     Witch looks pretty bad arse.. but alas  the "standard " renderer that Im using that came with my modeling program doesnt really have those awesome shaders so Im trying to do my best... even tho it wont even come close to that...
After I post the pic on page 3000 I think Im gonna give up modeling for a while till I can buy a nice renderer

This game does look pretty neat!  I'm also excited for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor but that isn't just a ps4 exclusive.  Honestly I'm caught between buying a PS4 or just updating my graphics card ( and whatever else it needs) on my pc. I love gaming but I just don't pour hours into it like I did when I was younger.
1886 looked really cool in game informer though.... and there are some other PS4 exclusives that look sweet lol!  Are you planning on getting a Ps4 then?

We've got a PS4, but consider it my husband's. Been saving up for a second one, since we game together and with another friend.. plus if we had just one and when DA:I comes out, he'd probably not see the thing for a longgggg time.

Personally, I've always preferred PC things, but I like the exclusives better for Sony things. They won't have much on it that interests -me-, till later on in the year though. So it can wait.

No, it's not. Was hesitant in even showing it. The first trailer was more "BAM!" in terms of movie like tenseness and blah blah blah. But I was only showing it because of the narrator's words, made me think of Templar things.

Alot have been skeptical about the game since they've been so slow in showing anything about it.

I'm not usually into shooters, but for some things I make exceptions. I think this is an exception. Especially if it's true what they've been hinting at about the monsters in the game.. definitely not enough out there with werewolf types for enemies.

You're going to be seeing alot of graphics like that the later we get into the new console releases. They still haven't stretched the limits of what they can do on the things.

I wouldn't compare to them, though. Hell, everyone loved your Cullen! And you said you weren't even finished and it already looked that good. And if you can still do that without having the pricey resources these big gaming companies can use, I think it's something to be proud of.

I'm no cosplayer, sadly. Even so, I still love those kits. I get to see Cassandra's bada** armor in more detail than ever before, and that makes me a happy panda.  I can definitely see the improvements Bioware has made on their overall looks. Cassandra looks more like a tough warrior, Varric certainly looks like a Paragon of Manliness, and Morrigan looks absolutely stunning. I really like it. I think the kits were perfect during our information drought because it's given people plenty to speculate about. Whose scarf is Varric wearing? Is it Bethany's? Is it Hawke's? Why is he wearing it and covering his perfectly manly chesthair? Where does Cassandra get her hair done? What brand of makeup is Morrigan wearing? You know, pressing questions like those.

Though, like many other people, I'm a bit bothered about how the hair looks. It's a tad bit... pixely. But, in spite of that, I think it's great.

Im not much of a cosplayer either (dont really have the body for it) but I think its pretty neat that they show us these kinds of details on characters, its certanly helful for those who want to draw/ do 3d model so they can see how the devs do it, and maybe recreate that detail into your own work, sure the eyes and hair may look a lil strange but   taking a screen shot in a veiw port like that its not gonna do the model that much justice as I run into those kinds of " problems" myself , Im definetly looking forward to some new pics  like this specially Viv,  as others have stated I also think her outfit looks pretty awesome  and would love to recreate Viv for my self, it would also be nice to see a pic like that with Cullen (if that really is him in the war room pic)  so I can see how the clothes actually look, right now I just kind of eyed balled the clothes for him on my model, based on just the concept art
