Of course, I immediately think of the hobbie we talked about once upon a time... reading, building trains or models. This time I'm going to take a page from the Xena playbook... what about fishing? I wonder if there might be something calming about it for our traumatized templar.

I reckon he spends his free time training, praying and reading books about Andraste, magic, mages etc. I don't think he's ever really "off duty", especially as things began to get worse with Meredith etc.

Ooo, David Gaider mentions in one of his tweets that last week was "crunch time hell" regarding work etc. I wonder if "crunch time" is in regards to putting the final touches on the things they want to show us for the official statement?

... Hm, that July question of the month hasn't been closed yet, usually they lock them within a week of posing the question.

It makes me wonder if they are all really busy trying to hit a particular deadline, like an official announcement or a special show 'n' tell at one of the big events, which is why they've not been on the forums much recently and were late with July's question thread etc. Maybe that's what DG's tweet about "crunch time" is all about?

 A few tweets from various DA writers/etc that I missed:

"Have just been told "YOU ARE SO MEAN!" over something I wrote. My week is complete. /beams."

"I will not use the phrase "lion's share" in my writing. I will not use the phrase "lion's share" in my writing."

"Yeah, good now. Just more, shall we say, "process discovery" + last-minute calendar changes. But all ok now. :)" - maybe that's what "crunch time" was all about?

Hmm, you know, the writers have to finish their job like halfway through the development process, before anyone else, so maybe this is a sign that that writing it coming to an end...?

And, I wonder if the lion's share comment is because someone used that phrase too many times, or if... there are no lions in Thedas...? LOL

Yeah maybe that's it? Sounds like they're all super busy either way. 

A few months ago I thought that we'd probably hear some news about DA3 at the end of August/September time, but now we're actually into August I'm not so sure lol.

Perhaps Cullen thinks about stuff in his past time, like maybe he reflects on his life every now and then.

I like to think that he's contemplating really odd things, like whether or not Andraste was shagging the Maker LOL! But seriously though, he definitely comes across as a bit of a "thinker" so I dare say he thinks about his past, the situation with Meredith, the blood Mage problem in Kirkwall, what life would be like if he wasn't a Templar, having a wife and family etc.

He does seem to be a bit of a thinker doesn't he? Perhaps in his ever continuing growth throughout the games, he'll be quite the little philosopher in DA3?

You know all this talk of him as a thinker makes me imagine him being into solo hobbies that allow time to think. I doubt they have it in Thedas, but things like marathon running or lap swimming. Seems those would also be good skills for a templar... Hmm, is this a sign of too much Olympics on the brain? LOL

I'm not sure myself, I'm just taking a broad stroke to it and making assumptions since they seem content with teasing us with tweets...  Though I don't really pay attention to twitter all that much(when I say that, I mean never) :\\
