Holy sh!t! Did you guys noticed the symbol on the Red Templar's outfits from the demo? (Admittedly I wasn't Hawk-eyed enough to notice myself, but this guy/girl was!):

Yeah. I think it'd another sign of RT not rapresenting the whole templars at war with the mages (considering that there are concept of templars fighting mages with the previous logo).

I think they're not set in stone, but it's highly likely RT will have those abilities, in my opinion.

I added a link to this thread as the last post, but we know how long that will last. I wonder if Melca could delete it. Or if Lola or ag99/Adela could ask a dev to delete it...?

Same here! I totally never noticed, especially since the boats had the regular Sword of Mercy insignia on the shields they had attached to them. I guess the red templars have adopted their own insignia. Makes me wonder if the the red templars are what became of all those who stood with Lambert and rebelled? In which cause, the Divine Loyal Templars likely kept the Sword of Mercy insignia, which is probably what Cullen will still be wearing.

Um, I don't think that's a new symbol. I've stared at those symbols and the armor ad nauseum, with multiple screen shots. It's the same sword of mercy, just tweaked because the armor is a mesh and doesn't move like a solid body. Plus the top part of the sword handle is hard to see because it's covered by the glowing red lyrium shard around their necks.

Given that the symbol on the boats is also the regular sword of mercy, I think that's even more evidence that it's the same. Not a different symbol. Look at the footage yourself, not that one blurry image he/she posted. #skeptical

It's a shame that the red templars and/or rebelled templars don't take on a different symbol. Seems weird that they'd want to keep an insignia that he associated with the Chantry.

Welcome back Cullen thread! Why are we in Customization and not in story, campaign and Characters?

And I know why. They want to start over and we need to forget about the old "Legacy" BSN (lol at the name, now we have two old forums, can't even remember what they called the one before that)

There's no saying they don't still have a new symbol, I suppose.  Maybe they just still um wear their old armor...?   Um, yeah, it's, um, STUCK now, because they've eaten so much red lyrium it's mutated into their skin. yeah, yeah, that's my story... and I'm sticki-- naw, doesn't really make sense.  

 

I had a theory about the square cross symbol, once upon a time, but I honestly can't remember what it was anymore.  It was never a good theory, so I'm betting it was just an old symbol they never really used. When you look through ALL the heraldry files collected on the wiki, there are tons never really used. Inquisition heraldry, being one of them.

Oh, Lola, I meant to say, if you want your games to show up under your avatar, go into Edit Profile. At the bottom, there's a spot to add your Game Profiles. Under the text box for each game, it has an "example" URL. But, it's not just an example, it's the actual link to you should use for your particular profiles. You can just copy and paste it in the profile box, click save, and the game icons should show up for you. It is puzzling why they didn't just automatically put the url in for you as the default.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm wondering if maybe the Beta will start in April, since they have to send out NDAs and wait for people to send them back etc before anyone can actually access the bloody thing. They should do it on my birthday, LOL!

Holy cow, the Fenris and the Anders threads are moved here, too. Is this on purpose??? Why would the char threads be in the "CUSTOMIZATION" forum? 

 

Someone started a new, new Fenris thread in the char threads. I wonder if we should consider same.
