Nah I'm sticking with Tuesday, for the sheer awkwardness of competing with the release of Episode 2 of TWD, (for our spoilery conversations, could we double up on our Cullen group for Telltale spoilers, I don't want to spoil things like we did for TWAU).

hmm this is weird it says that I capped out on my likes but an hour or 2 later I can like 3-4 posts and then its says I cap out again and then the same thing repeats.. weird, but yea , weather the info is coming today or tomorrow we know that is gonna be this week (unless they decide to push that back too) I wonder why they haven't said what day it will be released if they are sure they gonna show something this week

I still have no idea how the groups here work, but I've heard they're much more public than before. Anyhoo, it's Lola's group, but I reckon it's fine. The goal is to have a space for spoiler free discussion for the Cullenites closer to the game release.

I had a DA3-related dream last night in which I - not my Inquisitor, but me-the-player - was attacked by Vivienne. It didn't really make any sense at all. (Especially the part where she tried to bite me.) It was just very bizarre.

It's Mardi Gras, so I'm off for three days; it would be awesome if some info came out and I could just squee over it for three days straight LOL!

I literally have no concept of what Mardi Gras is, though I keep hearing about it on American TV shows. Is like our Pancake Day?
Mardi gras is some sort of holiday/ celebration with colored beans I think its mostly celebrated eithet in New Orleans (im not sure im not american) but yea some chicks take their top off for those lol (hopefully im not confusing this with somethign else)

In rural parts of the state, you put on creepy masks and go horseback riding, riding from place to place to collect ingredients for a gumbo; the final stage is to catch a chicken (yes, a real chicken) that someone releases. Poor said chicken goes into the gumbo.

I used to play alot of the first Guild Wars.. then there was an incident on NCSoft's site where hackers managed to get passwords and what not.. ours was one of them. Nothing was taken of mine, but some grubby-snatchyhands stole and sold all my husband's character's things, all the things that took him hours and hours to obtain. NCSoft tried to sweep the incident under the rug, and they don't give you back what is stolen, unlike WoW and the like. After weeks of me hounding them about it, I guess someone finally snapped and admitted things to me. Told me they -knew- who did it, but they couldn't do anything to the guy because the guy worked for some legitimate video game business.. uh, which made no sense to me. I mean, so what?
He hacked them, he stole from hundreds of people... that's illegal. Didn't understand their point of view for not wanting to punish the guy.
Suffice it to say, sorta ruined it for me.. was so looking forward to 2, too. My husband finally got over it, he plays Guild Wars 2 nearly every night. I might give it a try someday. I miss the crowd on there. Guild Wars always had a higher percentage of nice players compared to some other MMOs, and I -love- the new CC on there.

LOL Yeah, it goes by many names world wide, with slightly different customs. Carnival, Karneval, Fasching. I'd never heard that part about rural LA! Catching a chicken?? Outstanding! Suddenly the Orlesian Water Chicken theory doesn't sound quite so crazy! It must be the time of year. Ahem.

Yeah, it's the same. It's the day before Ash Wednesday/start of Lent, so basically you have a lot of fun before you have to give stuff up and be serious and penitent for 40 days.

I'm lucky that squeeing is totally allowed in my workplace! And I'm not going to claim I've never done it. I sometimes joke that if no one is bleeding, missing, or dead, no one where I work is going to get too worked up, and it's... actually kinda true. Random loud noises are nothing unusual.

Mardi Gras has always sounded like such a blast! I would love to go to Brazil for the parades and crazy party atmosphere - I would love one of those crazy outfits. Very Orlesian!

Ha! Right you are about the copying.. I lived in Panama City Beach, Florida for a few years. All they did was encourage underage drinking and teenager filled vans slowly driving by with car yellers, "Show us your bewbies!". Bead gifts optional.
