I honestly hope it's a bit unfinished or that's before all the guests have arrived/when they're starting to disperse, because it looked a bit... empty for a grand gala.

Hmm, dunno. I guess the people just look really flat to me. And every woman dancing looks like she's wearing Morrigan's ball gown (but WITH the hat from the World of Thedas). LOL

the only thing that looks "unfinished" to me are some of the ppl  in there , but I wouldnt worry too much as its going to look AMAZING in the end when the game ships, also they still havent said anything about the game being in beta so there is still time to improve, but for the most part it looks almost done to me

Yeah, it did to me too. The guy walking down the steps, for instance, looked faceless. And the room as a whole looked a bit empty.

I think everyone in Orlais wears masks, tho. Or, at least, everyone in the aristocracy. Still think that would be creepy, not seeing everyone's faces. I wonder how they'll swing that in the game. Not everyone was masked in MotA.

The male VA in the video is the same as the Inquisitor in the PAX demo, according to Laidlaw, and he's one of the final male Inquisitor VA.

 

Hey thanks for the info!!!! Did he elaborate in any way though?? Is this the ONLY male inquisitor voice? Like will an elf inquisitor have this same deep voice?

Yes, it would be creepy  - but in a cool kind of way. You'd never be sure who you were talking to, which would make for nerve wracking dialogue choices!
