Also, I consider it fairly likely that Cullen doesn't have a last name. It's typically only nobles who bother with one.

I am, I admit, curious as to what your own characters think of the Maker as being like.

It varies on the type of character I create really. Some believe, others don't. If I create a carbon copy of myself then she'll be open minded since we still don't know whether he exists or not, but most of my characters recognise that there's something fundamentally wrong with the way the Chantry is run.
I'm hoping he doesn't have a Surname, mainly because I'm hoping he's an Orphan... For drama purposes of course lol.

I doubt they'll ever answer some of those things definitively, but I do think some Chantry controversy would be cool. Like, I doubt we'll ever find out if Andraste was a mage, but it would be interesting if some long lost evidence comes to light creating chaos and debate. Or, a more political controversy, like the lyrium control Lola mentioned.

... Although, you never know, we might find out she was a mage in DA3 and have to make the decision to let the world know, or keep it quiet. Imagine the outcome of that one LOL!

It would be like when Indiana Jones found the Arc of the Covenant..... they'll lock it up and have "top men" working on it.

Ya but it's the cheese that makes the meal! Hahaha! Plus, I can't do it at all so you've got me beat without trying.

That clip of Cullen looking sad as the Warden leaves is heartbreaking isn't it. Poor little thing.

How would you prefer Cullen to die, if he does?
I'd prefer him to live, but if he does die then I guess it would be sacrificing himself to save the protagonist and companions as they try to protect a group of innocent mages or something. Like, perhaps in DA3 he sees how corrupt the rebel Templars have become and has some sort of epiphany, so when a life or death situation arises that puts them all in danger he charges in, battling the Templars giving the others a chance to escape. That's what I'd want to see anyway... Of course, I'd also want the option for him to live through that battle if we do his loyalty quest or our friendship/romance points are high enough (kinda like how Grunt stumbles out wounded but alive during the ME3 Rachni quest.)

This is all fine but I think if he does kick the bucket I'd like to have one big heart wrenching goodbye scene. Sort of like with Leandra but if he's your LI I'd like it to be so gut tearing that you're heard crying out in dispair miles away. One last dying blood soaked kiss. Then again, maybe save that for if you don't have enough points to keep him. If you do, then let's have you think he's dead and then give me a last minute miracle. I still want the good cry but then tears of elation to follow.
