Well personally I'm hoping the DLC character will be a woman.

I would like to start on a more fan-based subjective one too. One more "So why is he so popular?" "Possible role in Inquisition" ect.

 

With that I don't know if I want to just add in the general consensus of "we like his possible plot points" ect, or actually start a post, have people quote it, edit it with their own short but sweet input and go from there. Later it can all be edited to a grand master list. I feel like that may make it more personable and put some [virtual] faces behind the many reasons a lot of us like him.

 

Maybe even tackle some of the more... Controversial "fangirl" issues? Some people here think he's hot, some don't, and others really don't give a rat's ass and that's all okay. Honestly that issue it always going to plague female fans no matter what anyone may write, regardless. 

 

 

Maybe we should also right one about why we like him as a collective, like a complied list or something?

I don't think they will either because I don't think they will give us more than two mages.
 
I think Cole, Iron Bull, and Cullen are our remaining characters.
 
I would gladly trade out Cole for a female character though.

Nah but I really can't see why many of my Inquisitors would agree to bring him along. He's a dangerous spirit/demon/unknown thing. Yeah, he's interesting, but would my characters allow the risk? I know my elf wouldn't, nor would my qunari mage. So that's like two whole playthroughs before I could reasonably pick him up as a companion, (unless it's like a Morrigan thing where you have to have him as a companion for a small time before you can tell him to ****** off).

I'm willing to risk it, LOL! Chances are that our Inquisitor will be his replacement Rhys anyway, so he'll likely be utterly devoted to her/him!

I'm still more inclined to think the character from Asunder will be Evangline, especially given what happened to her at the end of the book.

I don't think they are more tolerant of spirits. Merrill says this to Anders after all.
"Anders... There's no such thing as a good spirit. There never was. All spirits are dangerous. I understood that. I'm sorry that you didn't."

So combine that with my headcanon of my elf's Keeper and First becoming possessed, she REALLY wouldn't trust a spirit.

No idea, I probably won't be able to make my mind up until I've fiddled around in the character creator for 10+ hours!

Elf because they are my favourite race with the added bonus of a possible Welsh accent!!! Swiftly followed by a qunari playthrough of course.

Yep! Especially for my dwarf. I like Ren on her, but at the same time it isn't very dwarfy. But right now, I'm trying to focus on naming their equipment.
