Soo super late to the party but I think that the FAQ for Cullen is pretty awesome and it pretty much covers all the things that ppl usually ask for and imo  there are pretty goo answers

 

Now as to what i would play the 1st PT I pretty much always go with a human rogue... cause.. idk rogues are just awesome   I like to do the other races/ classes  after that and see what other  insights I can get from the story based on the other races

Okay damn it I can't figure out how to reply on this new forum ... god I'm getting old, I can't figure out tumbler or twitter either, lol. Well, I'm not interested enough to figure it out.

 

Anyway, I don't think Cole will be a companion, just because of his "situation", maybe we run into him. It was said that an Asunder character will be appearing in the game, I don't know why so many jump to the conclusion that they will be a companion, especially Cole. I mean is he just gonna be invisible the whole time or are we having "special" eyesight and are able to see him? I don't know, just seems to complicated to have him in a game. What do I want with a companion that only I can see/hear ... cuts the best thing about adventuring, the companion chatter.

I can't decide what I want. Too many factors. They said you might be treated differently if you're a mage, or if you're anything but human, but what if you're an elven mage or Qunari? Would it choose one, or would both get mentioned depending on the circumstance? Would you be treated -twice- as badly? I'd like to know how it differs between the races and the classes so I can see the individual reactions.

 

And the CC would also play a factor. We could get the same hair for all races, or perhaps they'd give us a few options that are racial specific. If that was done and I liked one more than the other, that would also decide for me.

 

I do know that I prefer playing as elves the most. City Elf is my fave for Origins. And I've always liked archery. Liked mages better in 2, though. Made sense to be able to smack someone with your staff if they came too close.

 

So, depending on things, elven rogue or mage would be my top choice. But I'm gonna end up playing 'em all.

They could always decide to make it so that since he knows what he is now, and what he's been doing, perhaps he now can control it at will, since before he was unaware.

Regarding Cole, if the Fade has been ripped open all over Thedas, that might make it possible for others to see/hear Cole.

No. The film's beyond awful. Even Joss Whedon agrees. You really should watch the TV show though. It's amazing. And as an added bonus to the earlier seasons you get to laugh at all the bad 90s clothes.

who to play as first? Always female and nearly always human. Which is odd because I always loved being an elf when I used to play tabletop D&D.

 

So probably human dual wield rogue first, then human or elvish mage, then qunari rogue or mage. I just don't really like playing a warrior - I did try once, but a female Dalish 2-handed warrior was really weird and frankly looked ridiculous.

 

Also depends on who her boyfriend(s) is/are going to be.

Yes, very good point. We're less than 200 pages away, which is less than 160 of our old pages, independent of the fact that we're moving at quite the clip.

So get that creativity flowing!

Remember : limericks, stories, short banters, photomanips, tshirts designs/ideas, art, (drink) recipes, what have you. It's all fair game!

Now if I could just get the dialogue to gel on my short story...

Confession: I lost inspiration to finish my story once the inquisitor's voice was revealed. So I will probably be starting over with something new... Though I have no idea what at this point
