LOL Well, in that case... sounds like a fool's errand trying to actually interpret those foods.

Yup I think Cullen would be shortbread, its a traditional cookie n he seems traditional to me. Plus, I think he'd rather a cookie as a desert.
They also happen to be very delicious especially with jam...And man they do smell good when you bake them!Oh here I am again talking about cookies! ![]()

I've never really liked shortbread but all the descriptions of rich, buttery shortbread improving with age and smelling good as it bakes in this thread the last few days are really making me want to give it a second chance...
I'm in the US, so assuming you're from one of the countries that's known for it, probably not. :\ We've been visited by enough relatives from Ireland, England, and Australia that I may have had the good stuff at some point in my life but it would probably have been during the life stage where my dessert tastes leaned more towards Nerds Blizzards. ![]()
Is your shortbread the same as ours?
Unfortunately we don't actually have shortbreads where I come from, but you can find them here too though if you know where to look.I occasionaly make them myself but I use brown sugar instead (and add a pinch off Vanilla dust)...They go well with tea and apricot jam...Man I could talk about cookies all day but I can't help it I have a sweet tooth... ![]()
Reading online, looks like shortbread cookies are just sugar cookies without egg.
I always wondered if the lembas bread from LotR was basically shortbread? It looked like it in the films!
Now that you mention it,It does sound quite similar, although I've read somewhere(I am a Tolkien geek I can not lie) that it's likely based on a type of biscuit known as hardtack or smth...We don't have it here so I never tried it tbh...
Shortbread needs to age a good 2-3 weeks before it's the best. So good! I usually only make it at Christmas though.
It's similar to sugar cookies, but much much denser and buttery-er.

I always imagined lembas as being more like digestive or tea biscuits.
I couldn't figure out what Cassandra was, figured I was just missing some of her characterization and playing the game would make it stand out more. But since apparently that wasn't a full list, and I doubt they just forgot what they already said, so I'll go with ya'll in that maybe NPCs were included.. hahah, crusty baguette..
Shortbread.. I like homemade the best. But I also like the cheap stuff. Eitherway, that stuff is gooood. I agree that it suits Cullen.
Varric's new dish is a beef stew with red wine as an ingredient.
I fixed it once and omg it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!

Cassandra should be some kind of Italian pasta dish, because she's one saucy bitch.

Varric is a beef bourguignon.
Lol, I totally imagine the devs to can't stop laughing for us overanalyzing the food-thing XD
It makes me want to bake some more though... A few weeks back I've made brownies for the first time, nomnom! Never tried shortbread...

I'm a foodie, so I was bound to get over excited about it. Plus, gives us other things to speculate on. I'd also probably do the same if they tried to pick what colour everyone was. Hopefully, Cullen is not considered red.

Those are awesome, pity the Templar insignia is wrong though.
