Are you guys going to read everything what is about to come or are you going to try avoiding spoilers (to a degree, cause, well its the internet:D). If avoiding is what you are going to do, my question is HOW?
In a perfect world I'd want to keep myself entertained with unlimited environment and gameplay spoilers during the leadup but somehow not accidentally pick up anything about the plot or the companions' personalities / stories at all. I picked up a ton of plot spoilers for DA2 and almost none for DAO and the difference for me was pretty major.
Two random questions that stuck with me during the day. Curious about what you guys think/will do:
1) Do you think we'll get companion interaction where there is a fight between companions and the Inquisitor has to calm it down (choose sides which will have consequences later on? Like in ME between Jack and Miranda for example? I was thinking templar/mage conflict within the group)...
2) I am not certain yet if I want to know everything Bioware is going to tell us in the months to come (avoid spoilers). 1. I hope there will be something like that, in order to give more depth to the characters. Being able to step in when the companions are behaving like kids would be nice as well (glares at Anders and Fenris).
2. On one hand I want to keep myself from spoilers, on the other hand I want to know all the things... Still can't stand that I have missed half of the Korkari wilds on my first playthrough of da;o because I did not know much about the game at all XD I guess I would like to know the general story, who the companions are and who the LI.

1) I think there should be a mixture of differing types of fights not all of them should have 'choose a side' connotations, some should be just a companion going off at you because of how things went and choices you made because it shouldn't neccesarily mean they dislike or detest you, some of it should attributed to stress because they have the weight of Thedas on their shoulders.
2) I think JeffZero would be the best person to ask in regards to that he apparently managed to avoid spoilers for DAII whilst hanging out in the DA:I forums. But for me it'll be something like this.
Step 1: Okay me, let's avoid spoilers.
Step 2: Okay the forums have spoiled a bit of it for me.
Step 3: You know **** it I WANTZ INFORMATSHUNS!

1) I think there will be conflict within the group, far more than in DA2. In DA2, all the companions were there more or less because they were friends of/connected to Hawke. Even if you don't particularly like someone who hangs out in your "group", you are probably going to try to maintain the peace and not anger your mutual friends.
In DA:I, I'm guessing everyone is going to work together in an effort to "save the world". But that means no one is going to start out as friends and everyone is going to have their own motivations, goals, and ideas about how "saving the world" should be accomplished.
2) I was late to the Dragon Age fandom. I went into DA:O completely blind (I read The Stolen Throne in an effort to pick up the lore, that's it), so I missed Leliana & Sten and my first run was pretty much a disaster because I had never played a real RPG but I couldn't look up advice online without having the plot ruined for me.
When I finally burned out after countless hours of DA:O I was able to immediately aquire DA2. I had to avoid online guides & advice in an effort to avoid major plot spoilers. I knew Fenris existed but I missed him on my first run. I stumbled across a spoiler for the Chantry explosion in the comments on a Skryim thread (seriously? wtf!) just a few hours before I finished the game for the first time. I guess it lessened the impact for me, but it did seem pretty obvious.
Now I have been waiting anxiously with everyone else for every scrap of DA:I news. I do want to know about my companions, but I don't want to know about the major plot stuff.
tl;dr Bring on the spoilers! (as long as they won't destroy the ending)

So I was planning to use my 1,000 post in here but I wasn't paying attention and used it in the stupid romance thread, so I'm celebrating with ya'll in here.
Its not technically my 1,000 post, because I was here for like two years earlier than this name, but whatever. woo!
Personally, I don't mind spoilers. Finding out the facts of what will happen isn't the same for me as actually experiencing it in the game. Even if spoilers give me the what, I will still enjoy the how and the why just as much.
The Anders thing in DA2 was actually spoiled for me by the game itself, because I already knew what saltpeter is and what it's used for. As soon as I saw how much of it we were gathering and Anders said he wanted to sneak into the chantry... well, it was kind of obvious to me what he was going to do. I was still shocked by the scale of the destruction, though.
