Well we had killer harloquins in MoTA... mimes can't be far behind. They'll be the super elite death squad. Like French ninjas. You never hear them coming. LOL

LMAO Yup, this is definitely what we need in DA3. Orlesian ninjas!! You never hear them coming, then once  you're knocked on your ass they start to taunt you a second time.

Edit for Top of page:

But Orlesian mimes???  "Maker, noooooo!"

And, because it cracks me up... I give you Cullen's naked chest. Yeah, swapping a human and a dwarf results in very odd camera angles. Good. Bad. You decide.

You could always mod your game to use the actual face morph for him. It's pretty easy to modify one of your save games so your character actually looks like him. I've been tempted to do that myself... LOL either that or changing Fenris permanently into him. I haven't gone that far yet! At least, not for a whole game.

OK, here's a lightning round of questions. According to your head canon:

1. Is Cullen a good dancer?

2. Eyes open or closed kisser?

3. Vain or oblivious about his appearance?

4. Hair on his chest or not?

5. Takes the occasional drink or generally abstains?

6. Team sports or solo?

For my first decree...

But seriously though, it was a team effort!

1) He can hold his own but won't be on Dancing With the Stars any time soon.

2) This depends on the situation. Full on passion - closed eyes. Teasing and saucy - half open to see the PC's reaction.

3) Tries to keep clean but otherwise oblivious.

4) Light chest hair.

5) Generally abstains just in case he needs to jump to action. Occasionally may feel pressured to have a drink or perhaps if he's feeling very vulnerable and needs to quiet the nerves.

6) This is a loaded question and I think I shall not answer it. Image IPB

Oooooo!!! Latest DG tweet:

DavidGaider: "I love it when I finally find a character's voice. Suddenly... they're alive. At that moment I know this is what I was meant to do."

Do you suppose he's referring to VO's or the manner/personality/quirk in which a character speaks?

Oh, I would think it must be the second, writing the character's voice and finally having it click. I can't imagine he was "meant" for casting VAs. Cool!! Gosh, I wonder who he's writing. I guess it must be someone new! Yay!

Could even be Cullen, he's a blank enough slate that we wouldn't know what he'd be like as a companion now that he's all grown up. I would imagine he could be a tricky one.

R2 - I am (not too top secretly) a perv at heart. I will most likely always take it in that direction. lol

Lola - if he were writing Cullen I would be ecstatic! Perhaps he's decided which side of the fence he shall stand. Stay with the Templars or go with the Divine.... what do you guys think?

This is kinda cool, for those interested in such things. A blog post from Jessica about Bioware participation at Geek Girl Con this weekend. How cool would it be to attend the panel on The Myth of “The Female Gamer Perspective”?

LMAO And, stole all our money! :shakes fist:

Ah, you guys keeeel me. Yeah, it would be SO cool to go to one of these. Especially one focused on geek women. I imagine it would be hugely empowering to see so many successful women working in genre.

I kind of wish it had occurred to me that doing something like actually traveling to a geek convention was something I should try to do before I had kids. Tried to take Number One Son to a little local one for the first time... and you know... can't really sit around and debate the reasons I prefer the Tenth Doctor to the Eleventh, or why Serenity tanked at the box office with a three-year old in tow. He did get his picture taken with the 501st, tho!

First of all, Tom Baker is my favorite doctor...

And thankfully, my kid is getting old enough to begin to appreciate these thing. I'm crossing my fingers for CominCon next year. For him, it's anything so long as Spideman is involved. lol I never got into Firefly though... that all my brother. Thank God my dad is a scifi nerd! lol

 Still haven't seen any pre-2005 Doctor Who (*gulp* I know! I know!), but I hear Tom Baker is a good one.

But, awesome. Hope you get to go! At his age, I bet he would get a kick out of it. I also used to imagine taking mine to ComicCon someday. And, given his rabid obsession with, yes, spider-man(!), and all things superheroes and Star Wars and even some appreciation now of Dragon Age, he'd enjoy some of it. But... I just can't see mine sitting still for any of the panels or, sadly, the standing in long lines, for some time to come.  Eh, oh well.

Thanks for the facemod advice, though unfortunately I'm on console :( I can always attempt to just do it manually in the poorly lit character creation screen. :P

But honestly, guys, Cullen seems to be the most demanded NPC for companionship in DA3. xD

Ah, rats... Good luck then. Yeah, I almost find the chargen toggles have too many settings for me, so half the time I end up with some weird results!

And, yeah, there seems to be a lot of expectation that he'll appear... Heh, I guess we'll see if BW thinks so, too. *crossing fingers*

I have the same problem, it sucks because I'd love to mod my Hawkes and Wardens and download all the cool mods available.

Yeah, we're hoping the DA team have taken it on board and decide to let us have him as a companion/LI. I know Mike Laidlaw is aware of his popularity, so I can only presume David Gaider and the others are too. From what I can gather from tweets and stuff the DA3 companion's have already been picked, so I can only hope Cullen is in that mix.
