I've been waiting to learn of Zoe's fate for years! I'm so glad the kickstarter was funded!
Same here! I might have to play The Longest Journey and Dreamfall again before Dreamfall Chapters comes out so I can remember what exactly happened. It's been so long.

Might be worth having a read through the preview then, see how you feel about it.
To clarify: the "despise or not" equation hinges almost wholly on the state of Celene's and Briala's relationship at the end.

Issues with how Traynor was portrayed?

Actually, no; in fact, everything from Weekes' end gives me hope. My issues stem from the fact that every single lesbian relationship in Dragon Age has ended badly, more often than not by betrayal.

I'm assuming you aren't including player romances in that grouping, right?

As a matter of fact, I am. Both PCs vanish, and Leliana is explicitly separated from the Warden. Only Hawke has some kind of hope, and that's faint.

Briala's been Celene's mistress for years, right? I'd presume Celene wouldn't wanna do anything to screw that up, Empress or not.
... At least, I hope that's the case.

My Warden didn't even romance Leliana, but I hate that she and the Warden separated (presumably the relationship ended, and not just separated in terms of distance) if you romanced her.

Just thought I would show you guys this awesome thing!
http://ageofdragon.t...-see-fire-by-ed
It's a DA music video, set to Ed Sheeran's I See Fire.
*late as usual* Wow, that vid is indeed awesome! And I love that song
(ok, I think the dwarven song from the first part of the hobbit is even better... but really like this one too)

I don't imagine she would. The big question is Briala's allegiance, at least according to the back cover.

It's a little unclear, because Leliana does say "She is... dear to my heart" regarding the Warden, in the present tense. However, since my Warden would never want to get involved in supporting the Chantry in that manner, I can't imagine that their relationship could really continue. I think Leliana still loves the Warden, but in some way, duty has separated them. Can this be remedied in DAI? I don't know...

I guess it's hard to tell with Leliana, she seems to keep her cards close to her chest. Plus, she doesn't know Hawke, so it could (hopefully) be the case that she just didn't want to speak of her relationship with the Warden (for whatever reason).
Did DG or any of the writers ever confirm or deny that they'd split up? Or are they being tight lipped?

There's been no word, so far as I know. Perhaps I could find and ask Sheryl Chee...

I'd imagine that they would keep that kind of vague, considering how there were plenty of Wardens that made the Sacrifice. The answer might also reveal more about the Warden at the present time than they want people knowing.

I have Dreamfall installed, but I'll need to install The Longest Journey again. Still have the box (and the four disks that came with it) from when it was given to me back in 2000. ![]()

True, although the option was there to romance her, like it was with the other LIs, so I don't see why we can't know for sure... unless Leliana is planning to go into more detail about the situation in DAI, what with the Warden now being "missing" and everything.
Can anyone remember the time frame in which the Warden disappeared? Was she/he still around when Leliana pops up in Sebs DLC and mentions the Warden? Or had she/he already disappeared by then?

Well, Leliana pops up near the tail end of DA2, which was probably around 9:37 Dragon. I think that the Warden was probably gone by then. I think that his/her plans for leaving dealt with that book Morrigan gave him/her at the end of Witch Hunt, in 9:31 or 9:32, I believe.

Bann Teagan says in King Alistair that the Warden "should be back in Denerim by now," so she hadn't disappeared yet at that time.

Sometimes I think a lot of this is down to the game being rushed out of the door, LOL.

I believe that during Act 3 the warden is still around. "She is dear to my heart" is what she says during Seb's act 3 quest. Also, Teagan, in his visit with Alistair, will mention that the warden mistress/queen is still around. So my belief is that the warden disappears somewhere between 9:37 and 9:40.
