Cripes.
Just about everybody seems to be going insane in the DA World at the moment.

It's pretty much a game of "Who isn't batsh*t crazy in Thedas".
It's been a while, so have a Cullen:
You know, even the top of his damn head is sort of nice. I have a sickness. I blame you ladies.
/hastheCullen apparently. *grin*
Wow...I might need to avoid the forums entirely until the book is actually released. ![]()
(I really do care more about book spoilers than game spoilers)
So this might give me a reason to set my bonfires even if the relationship issue isn't a problem? It seems that someone at Bioware has a gigantic hate-on for Dalish.

If you ended up spoiled already by that idiot, I sincerely apologize. Avoid "The Dales are still majority elven" thread like the plague. That seems to be the only major hotbed of spoilers.
In other news...(I'm not sure how old this is but I just saw it)

I think there was someone on this thread who was worried that they wouldn't make fem!quanri tall enough. Rest easy.
Indeed. And on top of the whole issue in the Primeval + First Warden, remember that we have good ol' Cory running around as Larius or Janeka, and could be body-hopping into different Wardens as well.
Wait, what? I just finished this last night (for the second time, but yeah.), and did I miss something? Is that stated somewhere, or inferred? /may have to go replay it now haha
Agreed, it seems the near majority of people and organizations are completely crazy.
Though with certain racial biases evident.

Ummmm, oops?
This is just a warning for all those wishing to avoid spoilers for the book.

Yeah, it was something I never understood myself, but I can see it as a possibility now. I just couldn't see where they were getting that Corypheus jumped to. In my games, dead is dead.
However, if it did jump into Larius (I never spared Janeka), it would explain his difference at the end.
I don't think it's necessarily hate. Every nation or organization so far has some bad traits: the dalish aren't an exception.
I don't understand what you meant with your second post.
Increasingly clear bigotry against the Dalish. Who seem to consist of solely bad traits outside the Dalish origin, which is retroactively ruined by that clan's portrayal in DA2, more or less.
All the romances end "badly" though. Zevran and the Warden apparently split; hell, he doesn't even acknowledge the relationship in DA2 and will go off to sex Isabela or Hawke if flirted with. And the ending of DA2 is the same regardless of who you romance. Damn, imagine being an Isabela fan and seeing the comics come out; she doesn't even mention Hawke I don't think. That would break my heart if Fenris did the same.
Zevran flirting/shagging Isabela/Hawke was a glitch if you romanced him with the Warden, though. It's never confirmed if they split up, either.
A bug they never bothered fixing... which says a lot about their priorities. (Can't imagine them not fixing a bug where Alistair pretends the Warden was never romanced.)
They didn't fix the Warden/Alistair bug. If you keep him as a Warden and romanced him, in DA2 he refers to your as a friend... or dead. :-/
Hmmm. My rage is most definitely up; I feel like I'm actually on fire internally, and it's interesting in a detached way.
The dalish's negative portrayals went together with the bad (worse, compared to DAO) portrayals of templars, mages and most of the city. My opinion of Kirkwall isn't much different from the Arishok.Increasingly clear bigotry against the Dalish. Spoiler
No matter. Odds are high that I'll wind up supporting the Dalish, but I'll be incensed if something goes wrong with Briala for this reason.

OMG They seriously f***ed one of the aspects of the game players care about most. Sheesh.

Also, if you become King Alistair's mistress, he doesn't mention you either. And that wasn't a bug I don't think. (Though that I can sort of forgive, even if the rumours that have reached the Free Marches make it painfully obvious they are crap at keeping it secret)
