...So could potentially be November before we find out whether or not Cullen is a companion?

Man, I'd be fine with hearing soon that Cullen isn't in the party and I'd be fine with hearing at the last minute that he is, but I really hope not to be reloading and reloading for the last Companion Friday only to find out it's not him... I still think we might get one more Reveal a la Baldy in the upcoming conference demos.

 

Speaking of which, does anyone know for a fact that there will be some kind of Dragon Age presentation at Pax East? I was looking through the schedule (some of my friends are going) and didn't see anything.

I'm not sure if this makes things better or worse for you, but thinking this over, I highly doubt the last reveal will be any sort of surprise. The odds of making it till the end of November - what with playtesting and advance reviews and various people involved in the project doing their own thing on social media - without something like that being leaked or guessed seem pretty low to me.

Thank you,  its not a big company at all, they are just starting  so im not gonna be payed that much but what Im most excited about, is that I will get some experience in the industry, and thats pretty much what Im looking for right now to get me started , to know how to work with a team, and share ideas and workflows. Hmm, this makes me sad. I've never seen that before. Now I wish I hadn't heard that.

My guess is that they ignore the tons of conversations, discussions, and etc., not just about Cullen, but other things and only focus on the near naked Cullen pictures.

 

Speaking of.. There's been pages and pages of no near naked Cullen.

 

Someone should really fix that.

Nah I'd have to disagree about Anders. People still go off on him. It's pretty disturbing to hear people wax poetic about how much they enjoy killing him.

I don't go to Tumblr in general. And I don't check out other Cullen fan threads, so idk how they are in other realms of the internet.

 

As far as BSN, I usually--not always--avoid any threads abt gender;sexual orientation; or race/racism. I already know somebody is gonna say something that's gonna pish me off. So, I chose not to be pished off. lol!

 

Occasionally, I'll peek in one, and it won't be too bad, but I scurry out again cuz you never know. eesh.

 

To me, it seems adults on the internet need to grow up more than the young ppl. Most of the vilest stuff I've seen has been from so called grown ups. Vile.

Yeah, I think ppl are still pretty cruel to Anders and Merrill. But at least they were full on companions.

 

With Cullen, I think he has some interesting potential and I think he's cute. But he's been a very minor npc. Moreso, in DAO than DA2. But even in DA2, he was a minor npc. We don't know him. For me, there has been enough to whet my appetite to get to know Cullen more...ahem..in depth. But for all intents and purposes, I see him as a new character/companion. If he becomes a companion....

the game is a open world pvp survival game, set in Ancient Roman/Greek times

You know, in that one why!Cullen thread, I could understand the OP...at first. Then I came across a further post from OP abt nothing giving them more pleasure than seeing Cullen fans' hopes dashed as they make futile efforts to find a flirt option for a non-LI Cullen..yada, yada, bing, bang.

 

Then I was like...hmmm, the truth comes out then, eh?  Why someone would get a kick outta seeing others' hopes dashed against the boulders, I'm sure Idk.

Well, if they do a companion a month, and we have three already...for 9 companions that'd be abt Sept for the 9th reveal......it could happen..right?

Of course, there are always exceptions and not always someone who dislikes a character is a hater...
While some of them though give valid reasons for disliking them, others just tend to focus their hate on the fans for whatever reason(I don't really feel like elaborating,since this topic is already discussed in this thread...)

And the majority of these guys (from what I noticed at least),who hate on the Cullen fans,despite us explaining the reasons why like him countless times (and they're far from the stereotypical fangirl/boy image they have in mind ),
seem to demonstrate this kind of behaviour themselves, about other characters(usually female characters) which is kind of hypocritical to me...

About the Follower Fridays, someone pointed out that it might be strange that Bioware releases two mages in a row. Considering that Varric and Cassandra are out the next month, it'll be about a new one.
Now, that's just speculation (BEG might be still announced), but it'd be nice to see a companion not revealed so far (BEG is practically confirmed). I honestly doubt it'll be Cullen, but there's still a chance.

Soooo, I'm currently working on that page 4000 celebration Cullen video, and I'm going through various clips of Cullen and I reach the one where he knees Wilmod in the nuts and points his blade at his neck... Such. A. Badass. Seriously, it's easy to forget that he's a tough SoB when we mostly just see him standing around the Gallows day in day out.

 

I hope he gets a badass intro scene in DAI, I wanna be wowed!
