What I like about the Character kits is that they give us a nice nugget of info abt the companion without spoilers on story stuff and how we will run into them.

Did he escape from somewhere? Cuz he needs some serious clothes. How I wish my stash box from DA2 could be carried over into DAI...some kinda way.

 

Don't judge me, but I have a tendency to stash low to mid lvl armor and weapons for just such an occasion as running into an escaped elven mage. Just in case! it's carried over, I've got a few bits I can throw on the poor soul.

 

I do this, tho I know they're not carrying it over. I don't know why I still do this.

For the record, David Gaider says in the DAI Twitter thread that his name is Solas, not Solace. He has no relation to Dorian at all.

Well, maybe the next reveal will be Cullen. Maaaaybeee, they will just wanna get it out the way, and let the shyte storm die before getting too close to the release. Ppl would come to terms by then.

Just FYI, however, it's Solas. Not Solace. Not sure where they got that.
 
And, since this seems to be a persistent notion: Solas is not the "Dorian" from the survey. He was never that character. As to who Solas is... well, I suppose you'll all have to wait and see.

You know, I always kinda thought Feynreil (sp) would be that guy for us in DAI. Another Dreamer. What a rare treat to run into 2 Dreamers.

The health generation stuff is kind of not fun. I want my health to generate to some degree or give me the kind of power to make potions like in DAO. In DA2 it was a pain.

You probably missed my post after eluvianix's links. The healt will regnerete up to a treshold (example, 50%), based on the difficulty level or an indipendant slider.

I'm really excited about Iron Bull. I'm so happy he's a companion. It's gonna be sooo difficult deciding on party members. I can imagine taking Varric, Iron Bull and... Cullen along with my mage Inquisitor.

 

But I gotta have my homegirls, too. Gotta! Cass, Viv, Sera all have great homegirl potential. My class for each pt will impact my party choice.  I will try to mix it up, too. But there are certain squaddies that tend to be go to...

I wanna see some rogue gameplay! We've seen warrior out the wazoo. And mage..indirectly, but I know they've floating book thing going on. I wanna see a rogue now.

 

Rogue is my favorite class, but with DA I also love the mage class. I'll prolly role a mage first pt cuz the dramaz.
