I don't think it's the inquisitor; I thought it could be Cole or the fruity dude with the mustache (since he seems to have facial hair).

For me, the gender of the desired romance depends on the character's sexual orientation, not my own. I've had characters who were straight, gay, and bi - but my Inquisitor happens to be straight.

Not gonna lie though, from what we've seen so far none of them grab my attention in the LI stakes... of course, we don't know what their personalities are like yet, but at the moment I'm not drawn to anyone in particular. Yeah, there's Varric but the Bianca thing would put me off if he's romanceable. 

Same here. No-one grabbing me. Had the same thing with DA 2 as well. Really hoping someone does eventually, I don't want a forever alone Inquisitor to join my poor Hawke and as much as I love me some Varric, I can't see me romancing him even iff he is available, I want him back with Bianca too much lol

So you don't find anyone attractive between Beardo, Sera, Vivienne, Cassandra, Solas, Varric or Iron Bull? Granted, not all of them will be LIs, but all seem to have potential.

Varric is definitely friend-zone for me because I ship him with Cass, although I do enjoy the character a lot!

Well, physically Vivienne is attractive but based on personality I couldn't see my first Inquisitor romancing her (my first inquisitor is always an extension of myself), beardo doesn't do much for me, Varric I adore but I want him back with Bianca too much and I feel like if I romanced him I'd be cheapening his story arc surrounding her. Iron Bull I'm not sure, if he's like his description from the survey leak then he'd probably be more of a drinking buddy, Cassandra is also attractive but she seems very stern and serious, Solas I don't really have any opinions on either way, so Sera is the only one so far (based on her description) who sounds like the type of person I'd find appealing.

Yeah this is what I do. I think because my Elfquisitor's based so heavily on Anya from Buffy, I only really see her as straight.

Oh gawd, erm... I guess not much more from that, some of the article was posted up in German, it's been loosely translated but we're not sure how much of it is correct in general. And now we're just speculating.

Yeah, I've made mine tired, too. Between multiple playthroughs and ignoring other games I need to play, to getting the books, to forcing him to endure half-naked Cullen or Anders desktop backgrounds, he's.. just not very excited. Though as a straight guy, he still said he'd romance Varric in a heartbeat. 

Mine managed to make it through DAO entirely once with a Dalish elf. He played ME3 once through too but prefers to just play the multiplayer.

 

He complains that there is too much talking in the games.

A page or two back MMG's post has a link to a summary of the translated points of interest, but there's a lot of ambiguity in the translations, along with there being possibly some additional errors in the reporting (like the Solace thing). So nothing earthshattering since last night, except maybe choice of two voices for each gender.

See, I thought Bianca was dead from the way he spoke in DA2, and then the comic came out and it seemed like a certainty that she'd snuffed it. But then one of the writers (I forget who) said that she's not dead/may not be dead and then I kinda felt like I wanted to get them back together (unless she's a total ******, if she hurt him for no reason then she gets the murder knife! ... or a punch in the face, lol!)

It was Mary Kirby, Varric's writer, who said that Bianca's story "might not be over".

For me, there is a difference between finding someone attractive and feeling they would be a good romance match for my character. Of the ones you listed, most of them (sorry, Solas!) I find attractive from an aesthetic (not sexual, in these particular cases,) standpoint.

 

So it's not that no one is good-looking enough, at all - it's that I'm just not seeing the right personality match for a relationship based on what we know so far. Obviously in some cases we know very little so that's subject to change, but none of them immediately strike me as a natural pairing with my Inquisitor.

Hmmm, what if the voice option gives us an option of accents?

If there are indeed a total of 2 voice actors for each gender, I would imagine it would be split up by race

It's stated in the magazine that we can choose which of the two VA (per gender) we want .
