It says "Big cities like Denerim are not expected to be in the game." Maybe it's kinda like ME3, where you don't actually go to Palaven, but a small moon close to it? Or maybe they meant it wont be as open as Denerim was? Just throwing ideas here, since I can't see us not going to Orlais
*Edit*
Now that I think about it Denerim wasn't that open actually, there were loading screens for every zone, just like Kirkwall.

Venatori is Latin for the word "hunter".

Ohhhh Good catch!! Do you speak Latin? I had to look that up in my Latin-English dictionary
Venator, Venatoris to be exact. Why Venatori? Unless it is some weird form of the verb. I really hate Latin verbs ![]()

I read a book series that utilizes the term Venatori Umbrarum, which is Latin for "Hunters of Shadow," so I made the connection pretty easily.

Well all us non-Deutsche speaking folks have to take the word of the people who translated the articles; they say that Solas and Iron Bull were both confirmed.
I think it is likely that this information is correct based on the context.
That said, I know I keep harping on this, but when words like "companion" for NPC are getting translated back and forth, they don't always retain their meaning.
I have a specific reason for this reaction.
People from the Guild Wars fandom maybe remember this too - when it was just Guild Wars 1 and a non-English-language magazine (sorry, I forget what language it was actually in) broke the story about changes to both the hero system and the minion interface in the same article?
The reaction to the article was a collective "What the crap?" from the fans because in translation the words "hero," "companion," and "minion" didn't stick with the right description. It took us awhile to figure out there were actually two separate topics in the article because the writer and/or translator wasn't using the terms the players were familiar with for the different groups.
Given the nature of the description Iron Bull can probably be considered confirmed, but I'm not 100% till I hear it from Bioware.

From GI video:

I think it was Wiedz who made some fancy figures about it. I don't seem to have very good pics of the gladiator dudes saved in my bucket.

Yeesh. that 'armour' is just as stupid as a chainmail bikini. Why even bother with a helmet and gauntlets when your vital organs are left wide open and just begging to be sliced?

I think I might be a bit slow in this regard. But I think the person in the bottom middle frame just might be Cullen.

If they are gladiators then probably because so their organs would be seen spilling out of the body. For entertainment of course. Plus they're most likely Tevinter Slaves, when did they ever care about slaves?

Yeah, that has been speculated! I could see it being the case, but not everyone from the War Room picture is a companion even if it is Cullen, alas.

Maybe we've seen nothing because their roles just aren't that big. ? They've got quite a bit of game to reveal at this point.
I don't know. In DA2, we didn't hear much about Anders until very close to the release.
It was a 'rumor' that he was going to be in game and an LI. Everyone thought his part would be minor. Wow, we were wrong.

LOL Um, yeah, that's been the prevailing consensus [[edit: that the pic is him, not necessarily that he's a companion]], not that it's been confirmed one way or another.
It's from War Room.

I wonder if they are gonna go the Skyrim rout with the LI's. Maybe Cullen isn't an a companion, but maybe he's still romancable. That could be a twist. Maybe there will be more we can do with each faction, or NPCs that aren't in our little group then we know about. This to me is also an exciting notion.
So far the leak has been perrrrrty darn accurate for something they say isn't. So I don't see Cullen's concept being there for nothing. We didn't see Iron Bull on the concept art thingy. So maybe he's a faction leader and not a companion.

The prisoner they brought in front of the inquisitor has the tevinter symbol tattooed on his arm.
There's something shady about this faction indeed,I have a feeling that they will play a major role in the plot...
Is this Solas maybe?
Starting to also wonder if we get to pick and choose our companions. Lets just say for theory sake that this bald dude is Solas, and we decide, "off with his head!" Maybe that opens a new spot to have a new companion. Hmmmm
