Is it sad that I just got very excited? 'Cause I totally did lol. Plus, now we know that David Gaider's tweet earlier about being in the sound booth listening to VA's is indeed regarding Dragon Age 3.

I do love Greg Ellis' voice... I was recently replaying Tomb Raider Legend and enjoying the almost constant sound of his character's historical ramblings.

On an unrelated note, yet oddly related to the previous "Lightning Questions": I always imagined Cullen was quite oblivious to his good looks and completely baffled by the interest that any women might give him. Call me crazy, he just seems like the reasonably oblivious type...

But, maybe that's because he's voiced by Greg Ellis, and i was recently playing Tomb Raider Legends.

Multiple characters through-out Dragon Age, he's often used to voice various extra NPCs that contain very little dialogue. Cullen is the NPC he's voiced in the franchise that contains the most dialogue, but he has done others.

I've been playing Shadows of the Damned and he does the voice of Johnson in it, such a funny game!

I like to think Cullen would be oblivious, unless it's made blatantly obvious during which he'd go a bit red faced and embarrassed and try to remove himself from the situation asap lol.

Agree; this is what I've always thought, too. But, maybe it's just because DG actually called him oblivious! LOL

Indeed, in DA:O I have to stop and listen constantly now when I run into "him." LOL So, I'm not surprised he's in it in some capacity.  I suppose, based on that vid I just watched from meanie of Adam Howden and Gideon Emory, I'm not surprised he doesn't know who it is yet, either. Sounds like the actors show up and get pages pushed in front of them, with no advance sharing of the script.

Thinking good thoughts... rainbows and moonbeams and sun dappled pools...

Greg rocks! He could've just said nothing. He just proved once more why I liked him ever since the first Pirates movie

Yeah, especially VA's they use regularly for NPC's. In DA:O Cullen voiced a fair few minor NPC's including Cullen. Not sure how many he done in DA2 besides Cullen.

I would hope that he's being called in to voice Cullen again in some capacity. But at least we can be sure now that if Cullen is only playing a small NPC part again then it'll definitely be Greg Ellis voicing him. I'm not sure how big a session he's been scheduled for, if it's a sizeable slot then I would imagine he'll be voicing him as a companion/LI.

I wonder why the DA team keep it so hush-hush to the VA's? Maybe to avoid any accidental leaks and because the script is subject to change so characters/companion's can be written in or out at the last minute? Any ideas meanieweenie?

I am! I know it's silly to get excited because the games not even gonna be out for ages, but the fact that he's got a session planned is good.

... Although surely it would be bigger than a "session" if it was going to be a big part, like Cullen as a companion/LI?
