I hope so, although the surprise announcements would be for games released in March 2013, that seems too early for the game to not feel rushed.

Ok, here's my theory about Greg Ellis' tweet earlier regarding his planned VO session for Dragon Age 3. If it was sessions (as in a large stint of them) then he'd have a rough idea that it would likely be Cullen. But the fact that he doesn't know who he's going to be voicing and refers to it as a "session" seems like it'll only be a short/small part, which would just be a random NPC or Cullen as just a cameo or minor part (like in DA:O and DA2.)

Here's hoping he's just being purposely obscure, I'd be so disappointed if Cullen isn't a companion/LI.

According to Raphael Sbarge, Kaidan's VA in ME3, each session is 4 hours long. As long as they have enough lines for 4 hours of course.

So hopefully this is Greg's first session and from there schedule more. Maybe he was just referring to his first session since he doesn't even know who he's going to be voicing and if there's going to be more sessions needed. Oh I hope so!!!

I hope so, i'm just concerned that he'll be too busy filming that new tv show that he won't have enough time to fit in all the sessions needed to do a full companion/LI. Hopefully he'll have enough down time when he's not on set to do it. 

Did Raphael say how many sessions he done in total for Kaidan?

It's totally possible, look how many people Gideon Emery voiced in DAII, including Samson.
Also, I wouldn't expect much because of what Greg Ellis said. Just to avoid the disappointment. When we were waiting for DAII he sincerely believed he was voicing Anders  It wasn't his fault, voice acting can be confusing like that.
Still, Cullen voiced by somebody else would be just his evil twin. The voice is a huge part of his personality, especially since we don't get to know Cullen well, and can only guess.

Also, I think that thread with an epic revelation is a fake. BioWare guard their secrets too well to allow a leak on such an early stage

Gala: I had no idea Gideon voiced Samson! Crazy!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a leak though, the Mass Effect 3 script got leaked in it's early stages and that turned out to be real. I really hope Greg Ellis will be voicing Cullen, preferably in a companion/LI role. I thought the reason Greg didn't do Anders voice was because he was busy filming something else, so he didn't have time to voice a full companion role.

Hi meanie. I was busy with a move. Right after we had internet and PC issues to sort out and then I had friends from highschool in town and THEN... my kids got sick. Like really really sick. I wouldn't put too much weight on Greg's tweet, at least not where it concerns Session or SessionS. Could be that there are more sessions but that the first one is planned. We'll see/hear

I also don't really believe the spoilers are real :\\ it's a bit too..vague.

Yeah I feel the same way. The Iron Bull is the only interesting one IMO. But Sera, Cole and Dorian just sound... completely meh. Cole in theory sounds good but from what I hear he's in Asunder and he's kind of... nuts. Bloodthirsty nuts.

Here's hoping Cullen is still a possibility and among the potential three returning favourites because overall the other companion "leaks" have failed to impress.

I'm not saying thats a bad thing as I enjoy playing as a female in DA, its just it wouldnt make that much sense if he was bi , because he clearly only shoes interest in females *coffs specifically mages* it would be interesting though what bioware will decide to do...

I think  just because he wasn't interested in m!amell doesn't necessarily mean that he wouldn't be interested in a new male PC. I think it's still plausible with the right storytelling. especially since we know so little about him. :shrug: If he were a LI, I just hope whoever wants to romance him, can. IIRC, Kaidan was originally only romanceable by a fem!Shep...?

But, yeah, his tweet was so short, I doubt it tells us much except that we'll hear his voice again in tNT. That's enough to make me optimistic for now!

Hmm, agree, although demographically they don't surprise me. If I were to guess the origin of new companions based on the "interests" of the fan base in general (sadly, not mine), I'd say Dorian and Iron Bull are right on the money. Including Cole would really surprise me, tho, particularly based on dev comments on his companion thread. Curious.

I'm seriously hoping that thread is a fake. Because if it were true, it would kill any enthusiasm at all I might feel about DA3.

Okay, I gave up on reading all 310 pages. Working on the next chapter of my fic and was wondering about the following. Emeric warns the city guard about DuPuis and his suspicions about him. But did he also ask Cullen/the other Templars for help? Because my Hawke will not be nice to Cullen if she hears Cullen could've helped in preventing her mom's death. (I hope this makes sense, I'm rambling a bit)
