I think DA2 spoiled me. I genuinely enjoyed romancing all four characters. I truly hope the same is true for DA:I. So far it's not looking like it, but then again, we've only seen pictures and read a few blurbs. Who knows if I'd have felt the way I do now about Fenris or Isabela if all I had to go on were pictures and blurbs.

Yeah, I definitely agree. I'm betting on Cassandra and Sera to be the female LIs, with Vivienne being too fabulous for peasantry like the Inquisitor. Can't say I'm unhappy about it, Cassandra alone is pretty fierce. And her looks sport hair that is far from our cultural beauty ideal - she's very different from the sweet, agile and spellcasting ladies we've had before. No delicateness in skin or tone, this is freaking Cassandra.

Not that there's anything wrong with delicate skin or tone, mind you. But every female LI we've had so far has had one or the other (or both, in Merrill's case).

 

oooor...maybe we get 3 LIs each gender this time around  No idea if they've already debunked that, but how cool would that be?

But seriously, I hope Sera is the Karen of DAI. So would that make Iron Bull the Gretchen? Cos she's the best one.

Prolly sumthing like Cass, Viv, Sera and 2 mysterio human males and Solas. Humans and elves cuz they seem a bit squeamish abt things like dwarven and qunari love.

 

But what if you're playing a dwarf? Didn't they say they didn't want...dwarven romance, or something? I can't quite remember, but I don't understand, who would my dwarf and qunari love on? And that's for the fems. What abt the male dwarf and qunari? Who are they gonna love on?

 

I don;t understand how this is gonna work. Well see.

Well, based on both fan and concept art, I, for one, am convinced IB is a rogue. So that leaves room for a warrior!  

 

You're right though, he probably isn't fashion forward. Though it would be amazing if he was

I think Gaider was referring to the scene. IB seems a Laid back character, so he might enjoy seeing companions bicker on fashion style.
The blog post actually made me hopeful in seeing multiple companions interacting with each other in DAI.

Why wouldn't a dwarven or qunari inquisitor romance any of these guys? I mean I can understand why IB x FemDwarf might be odd but hey, true love blooms in unusual places!
