It's weird... I feel like Cullen actually has a pretty decent chance now. But for some reason, I feel unable to say I think he'll be in. I'm still clinging to skepticism.

We might be, but I don't want a lot of companions. Seven is enough. That's your maximum party size in DA2.

I have been looking for the rest of his cut dialog (also posted at vieralynn's tumblr) online for a while but never did find them... I'd love to hear them all if someone knows where they are. (If not, maybe I'll try to dig some of them out with the toolset or whatever for page 4000...)

So I'm basing my roguish thoughts on the two daggers & his Thedas-y rogue armour skirt.

I just saw this in his description from the leaked survey way back when...

 

"...he loves drinking, killing and looting-but not necessarily in that order...The head of a vicious mercenary company, he's known for excellent pay and brutal punishment..."

 

All sounds pretty roguish to me!

Mustache guy could have easily evolved into another character entirely. I wouldn't mind a good looking Chevalier. Since we are cavorting about Orlais, we gotta have one lol.

Quite frankly I don't mind if we have less than 9, as long as they all seem interesting. And so far, I am having a blast speculating and learning about all these people.

And Ser Michel struck me as a really cool Orlesian guy, so I would really like to see him as a companion...although that might screw up our class distribution, since he'd be a warrior too.

My anger might make me too predictable, but I'm in an annoyed mood tonight after my idiot ride forgot to pick me up again.

 

In any case, I'm not interested in warriors in general. The Iron Bull at least has a flicker of something interesting going, but if he turns out to be a rogue, that reduces the chance of Sera being in the game, and I will not have that because she's the only reasonable chance I have of some kind of romance.

I would bet his best picture is the one that will come with the inevitable character kit. So far, I believe that those specific character pictures look the best. Vivienne's looked awesome.

Huh, late to the game ( think you guys are purposely *racing* toward page 4000! LOL), but "you guys wouldn't know it yet" supports my tiny  burning flame of hope that at least one of the final followers is a total and utter surprise. 

 

But... I could also imagine the missing character not being a third shopper but something equally funny... like Cullen frowning, sitting on a burro behind them, holding all the empty bags.
